We actually purchased our own organza and it was about 50 buxs. Its more than enough to cover the gazebo from the measurements they gave us ....heres the website we used

BTW the organza is absolutely beautiful i cant wait to see it all come together with our crystal curtain hanging in the back:)

Photographers- who are you using and what coverage time are you having? I'm really not sure how long they are needed for can you help?huh.gif?

Also does anybody know the dimensions for the sheer for the gazebo near pier? As i'm thinking of taking my own, to get the right colour and save money, Is anyone else doing this?

What other things are people taking to cut the costs?

Chong can you send me the templates- [email protected]

Thanks ladies msnwink.gif

Thanks ladies you've been helpful, as I'm from the uk bringing a photographer with me is out of the question (too expensive), our wedding is at 3pm so it very early and will need photographer for along time so I get the getting ready shots.

Maggie I know what you mean about the expensive for half hour, but hay-ho the things we do for good photos!

I remember talking about the sheers a long time ago - don't forget to check what they charge you to put them up.  I can't remember what it was but it may affect your decision.

I used Moments that Matter photography (forum members).  I did a review on them and highly recommend them.  I had them for the day and 3 hours for a TTD the following day.

Hi Herbie - Bringing your own photographer doesnt necessarily mean bringing them from home, it just means youre not using someone based in Cancun.  For example, a few of us are "bringing a photographer", but she lives in Florida (none of us live there or have even met her).  I'm pretty sure this is the same thing Taylor and some of the other girls did with Andrew.  I thought bringing our own would be too expensive also, but its amazing some of the deals photographers are willing to make when they are working on extending their clientele and experience.  Or if they just love to travel!!

welcome4.gif  I was married at AB in April!  You will LOVE it!  So small and intimate.

Is there a specific reason you're not working with a TA?  They're a bride's best friend when it comes to the travel portion of things.  The TA can probably get you better rates and promos than you can get on your own, and they'll be the liaison between you and your guests when it comes to travel stuff.  The last thing you'll have time to deal with are guests' room changes, date changes, flight changes, and nit-picky requests.  Trust me, all those things will happen!  Just trying to save you some stress down the road...

AB is tiny, so reserve your rooms as far in advance as possible or it WILL sell out.  Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
