Good to know! I got a book as part of my package but I will research the DVD. I think it was $150?

Great!! I told her I knew someone having a shoot done but wasn't sure when you scheduled it. She was uber excited that I'm a black girl, lol! She said I'm her first so she wants to put pics of me on her site. She's VERY cooky but that's what made me laugh the whole time. She finished putting the pics on her website but I have no clue how to just send links to the PG ones!

That is one thing you may also want to take into consideration. My MOH tried and tried to get access to the pics and they are on lock down! So, be prepared to spend the extra money buying prints/DVD/books through her. And it's not cheap! I don't feel so guilty about it because of my experience and the fact that she went over on my session by an hour and a half BUT that was an expense I didn't take into consideration.

We're also considering this. Found some sites for excursions off of this BDW actually...but we haven't decided on anything yet. We have a pretty large group as well, although I'm sure not everyone will be game for going somewhere.  I def want to hit up Chichen Itza though!!  Heard great things about Tulum as well.

We had originally planned to do one with our group (at that time it was about 30 people). Now that we have 63, it doesn't work for our budget. So now I am not sure if we are going to do anything.... sigh. Might tell people we are doing something, and see if they want to join.

I have Amanda Patek too.  I just started with her about 2 weeks ago.....so far so good.  Her response time is fairly quick.

I'm not finished. My to do list is actually a page long (it was 2 pages the other day). Today the mailman seemed a little overwhelmed. It seemed like everything we were waiting on (except the aisle runner that we got scammed out of) arrived today, clothes, bouquets, etc. We had 7 boxes of stuff delivered. Lol!

I loved getting stuff in the mail!  For a few weeks before our wedding it felt like Christmas.  We were getting boxes of stuff we'd ordered every day.  It was fun to see it all come to fruition.

Meredith is right, Xel-ha is really popular and gets rave reviews.  I haven't personally been but it's on my list when I go to the RM in December.  So is Hidden Worlds Cenotes Park.  Tulum is neat--I use "neat" because they're small, compact ruins.  I don't think they'll wow you like Chichen Itza but they're a nice, easy excursion.  It should take no more than 1.5 hours to see everything, probably less.

Super Cute and They had one to fit each girls personality! Thought I would pass along :)

I LOVE these!  They remind me of clutches another bride used from etsy that I've been drooling over for months.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
