Do you mind sending me the link to AmEx? I googled it and American Express came up on most of the searches...

Go with AmEx.  That's who all ours guests used and they had great experiences.

It is American Express Travel Services. Our guests' transport was booked through Travel Impressions, the tour operator our TA uses.  If you have a TA they should be able to tell you which tour operator they use and, in turn, who they use for their transportation services.  AmEx is a common one in Cancun, as is Lomas.

Anyone scheduling a group excursion for their guests?  I'm having a hard time deciding what to do.  Our last trip to the Mayan we did the Coba, Cenotes and zip lining eco excursion and a swimming session with non-captive turtles in the ocean.  I thought it would be nice to do something like go to tulum and/or repel into the cenotes.   Thoughts?

Great!! I told her I knew someone having a shoot done but wasn't sure when you scheduled it. She was uber excited that I'm a black girl, lol! She said I'm her first so she wants to put pics of me on her site. She's VERY cooky but that's what made me laugh the whole time. She finished putting the pics on her website but I have no clue how to just send links to the PG ones!

That is one thing you may also want to take into consideration. My MOH tried and tried to get access to the pics and they are on lock down! So, be prepared to spend the extra money buying prints/DVD/books through her. And it's not cheap! I don't feel so guilty about it because of my experience and the fact that she went over on my session by an hour and a half BUT that was an expense I didn't take into consideration.

GO YOU on your BD shoot!!!!!  I'm so proud of you :)

I'm glad to hear that he's quick. I think my MOH will drive me crazy afterward to see pics. She and her husband upload pics daily and she's kinda anal about all of that. Thanks (about the BD)!! When I figure out how to post selectively I'll let you know.

Thanks!!

I'm glad you asked this question. My TA is handling all of that (it was included in the room rate) so I never even asked.

Yay!

I'm not finished. My to do list is actually a page long (it was 2 pages the other day). Today the mailman seemed a little overwhelmed. It seemed like everything we were waiting on (except the aisle runner that we got scammed out of) arrived today, clothes, bouquets, etc. We had 7 boxes of stuff delivered. Lol!

Ms. H, when are you arriving? We're leaving on the 15th.

We are toying with going to Xel-ha. It's $107/pp and is all inclusive with transportation to/from the hotel. I really dropped the ball on this since everyone was all scared to leave the resort initially. Now everyone is wondering where we're going. rant.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
