Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Has anyone had a WC by the name of Cesar?  My TA told me he is my WC, but I've read this entire thread and don't remember seeing his name mentioned by anyone.

I'm still waiting for him to contact me....

Regarding the time the reception starts and whether it should start after the bar closes I really don't think the time it starts will be an issue.  The WCs are great at making your area a private area and guests are pretty respectful as well so you won't have to worry about your reception being interrupted.  And if your reception is at the Plaza Zavaz there really is no bar near that area.  I know it may seem close on the map but it's actually not very close and that area is pretty seculded.  We had people looking at the reception from their balconies but it wasn't like that reception area was blocking a path to a bar.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease. My wedding is at 3pm and my reception is 5p to 9p and I was worried that even that hour from 4p-5p was too long. My reception is at Zavaz Plaza as well so what is the nearest bar that I can tell people to go to in the hour photo downtime? I did have a cocktail hour in lieu of the fact I really wanted to have a welcome party the day before and couldn't afford all three

No prob! My colors are all monochrome blues and greens so I guess there isn't much crossover :) Just wanted to put it out there. We will definitely have to get together for drink while we are there!

The nearest bar that a group of people could gather at the easiest is the Zocalo bar.  Zavaz restuarant has a bar but it's not one that people can really gather at.  I used my cocktail party for the welcome reception as well so I didn't have an organized cocktail hour.  If you make sure people know exactly what time the reception will start you probably won't have to worry about making any detailed plans for people to go someplace.  They'll find something to do and they'll be at the reception on time too!

They were WONDERFUL!!!  I do n't htink you have the option to choose though.  I had Veronica who was the event coordinator for the reosrt and Israel who was the wedding coordinator.  I believe they're just who happened to be on duty that weekend.

Definitely a drink!!  We are there from May 8-15!!  We have about 50 people coming and will be at the pool bar (and they all like to party), so you probably won't be able to miss us!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
