Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Super cute!  I agree with amcferron though.  Make sure all of your girls will be comfortable wearing it.  If they are as skinny as you, I'm sure they'd love to show it off...but you'd hate to make them self conscious all day/night if its not their style.  If they all like it, then you will have a super sexy group of bridesmaids!!

Love your fiance in the background...hilarious!!

Another tip one of my BMs mentioned to me while shopping for dresses, was to watch out for colors/fabrics that show sweat.  It sounds so gross, but it is hot/humid Mexico!

HI ladies,

I am terrible at keeping up with this forum, i snoop around every now and again but I just don't have the patience to read every single thing LOL. Anyway, my fiance found a site to a woman's pictures of the resort which are by far THE BEST PICS i have seen since i booked my wedding back in February. There are great shots of various locations and even the wedding set ups at the resort. I know there a lot of new brides to the site so I thought it may help with a picture of what your day may look like. This forum was a great help to me in my beginning stages of planning and now we're only 7 weeks away!!!! so exciting smile29.gif

Thanks for the Pics! awesome!

That was our plan. My reception is 5p-9p which still leaves both bar and room party time

Our wedding is November 16th....hopefully you can get some answers, with 56 guests booked, you're missing out on 3 free people!! What travel agency are you going through? What provider? We are going through sears travel and our trip is with signature vacations.

I'd be all over them, maybe even get your travel agent to make an anonymous call to my agent and ask some questions....let me know if you would like the info.

Good luck!

I've already fought this battle and have found it sooo frustrating to just be shut down at every turn for this.  We're having 56 guests already and I'm unbelievably upset that NONE of these kinds of deals are being provided to us.  excuse being "that's only available to USA brides"

Hey Ladies, i'm looking for some advice from those who are or who have had their reception at the Zavas Plaza, or anyone who would like to share their opinion!

We have scheduled our reception from 5-9, but i've just realized the bar that near our reception area, is open til 6. Do you think we would be wise to start our reception at 6 to avoid the noise/people? what do ya think?

Thanks!

Hey Ladies, I 'm having a problem that maybe you guys can help me with. So i'm on a budget wedding but the photgrapher means alot to me. I 'm lokking to spend like 1500- 1800. I found a photgrapher who is on this site, Gonzalo Verdeja from art n colors from baja claifornia and he's willing to do the whole day for 1500 that includes video as well. I' m hestitant because that's a great price and i havn't been able to find one review for him on here. I need suggestions. Please help.

Hi Ms. H - If its possible to change, I would recommend having your reception start at 6.  The thing about Zavas Plaza is it's surrounded by pools and buildings.  At 5 there will probably be some people lingering around, but by 6 most people are either in their rooms getting ready for dinner or are already out to dinner.

During my last visit I paid special attention to different locations at different times of day and noticed the beach area stayed occupied til about 5, then the pools til about 6.

Hope this helps!

I came across this one review http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/56172/just-married-at-dreams-los-cabos

However its that person's 1 and only post, which seems kinda fishy to me.

Does he have a website?  Or any sample work he can send you?  Its a fabulous price, but your right it can be scary if you can't find any reviews.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
