What do you guys think?  What color do you like the best?

Dress #2!  I like the Mori Lee dress better than the David's one b/c it's flowier and is just really cute.  I like the eggplant over the Aubergine b/c I think it'll pop more in a tropical setting.  What are your other colors?  Sorry if you've already been over this on here...I can't keep everyone's colors straight!

I agree.  Love the Mori Lee dress.  I too like both colours but think the dark purple would look amazing in Mexico

plus 50 pp for the cocktail hour and reception we want from the banquet menu on the site

plus photo, video, flowers, gown

all the photogs ive looked at are around 5k!!!! thats almost the same price as a NY photographer, actually its MORE!

I wasn't aware that was how it was going to work. We qualify but we booked the free foom for our photog. I was told we were paid in full from the TA so I'm assuming she deals with the refund with the resort. Maybe I need to double check this.

I like the Mori Lee the best and of course you know I'm going to choose the dark purple. Keep in mind it taked them like 10 weeks to come in. I know you have time but just wanted to make sure I told you that.

I was married at Azul Sensatori in April!  Whilst I didn't contribute much to this forum, I got lots of tips and ideas from it and was on it almost daily!

Thought it was only fair for me to share just a few of my pics.

You will have a fabulous time!

The only thing that I would complain about is the hair salon!

I paid for a hair trial and was very happy with my hair and the girl who did it, however, on the day of the wedding, that girl was nowhere to be seen!!

Also the co-ordinator had booked my hair appointment for 1.30pm and I was getting married at 4pm.  At 2.30, I was still waiting to get my hair done!  they eventually got another girl to start curling my hair, but then, when the trainee girl (who couldn't even curl hair properly) had finished with another client, she was brought over to finish my hair!  I was not happy.  She did not speak any english and I could not let her know what I wanted.  I wanted a messy side bun, but all she did was sweep my hair to the side and pin it.  I ended up bursting into tears because all I could think was that I would have awful hair on my wedding day!  They ended up having to phone for another stylist from another resort just up the road and I felt crap on my wedding day when I should've been excited!

I was eventually happy with the hairdo, however, did not get out of the salon until 3.15pm!  Ended up having to run back to my room and slap on my make up and throw on my dress in a last minute rush!  Was definitely not how I imagined the getting ready process on my wedding day!  I thought I would be sipping champagne and taking it easy.

I would just advise you all to make sure that if you are having a trial, make sure it will be the same girl doing your hair on the day, or there is no point!  I would also advise you to get an early hair appointment, as they did tend to run over if there are a few of you getting your hair done!

Awe, thank you so much for thinking of us!  I think the lady got enough backlash from the cheerleading community that she at least stopped posting ignorant things on facebook.  But the girls start back to school on Monday so I'm hoping all goes well.  The school was notified and they are going to pull the girls aside and have a talk with them.  Hopefully this won't reignite the insanity.

Thank you everyone for your BM dress opinions....it has been decided...eggplant Mori Lee...I do like the Aubergine color...but I think it is almost too silvery purple..and since purple is my only real color..I think it will work better....

I can totally picture the beach with purple sheers on the gazebo and bows on the chair and those dresses...

I can't believe I actuually made a decision.

Funny think is...that purple color is what I originally wanted the 1st time I got married...but I wound up finding these awesome black dresses with fealthers on the hem (sounds awful...but they were really pretty) so..it all changed....

This time....I get to do it right :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
