Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

so i am very happy with my pictures, he did an amazing job almost look like a photo shot for a magazine the trashing the dress was amazing and he was the most afforable photographer.

I put his link on the site (below) it under events my wedding is there.

what i liked most is that he took pictures at the reception of all of us hanging out dancing drinking and so on,.  when i was looking up photographers I only found some that would take pictures of the "wedding party"

that upset me.

hope you like my pictures

LOL)  It was VERY VERY VERY hot so please make sure you check out the weather.  I don't think anybody has a date coming up too soon so  maybe it will cool off by everyone else's wedding.

Here are the pics:

your pictures are great. its super hot hot hot out there.  i had (TMI) sweat streaming down my legs.

I did the rooftop so it was a little more private but still I felt like we were cooking up there. we had two guest almost pass out cause we were running late.

for those rooftop brides don't pay the extra $150 or so for the quick drink up there hour CAUSE everyone will leave that rooftop asap thats how hot it was.

also great picture spot is the pier thing they have at the hotel. we took pictures on it at the wedding.jpgDSC_0566.jpg

It really doesn't make a bit of a difference where the rooms were.  Everyone pretty much gathered at the adult pool swim up bar everyday no matter where they stayed.  We also had a swim up suite so in the evening we told everyone to just meet at our pool and we did more partying there, not sure if we were supposed to do that but we did and it was all cool!

Good to know!

When I bought it the sales girl told me the alterations would be an easy fix (Like $400 or so) and I thought she'd be right. Such a bummer....now I am desperatley trying to find someone to do my alterations in my price range. It's just scary because I want my dress to be in good hands. Wish me luck ladies.

I am sure you will find someone!

I found one like that too :) It was nice but not "THE ONE"

Has anyone seen the "Wedding in Mexico" on TLC for Trisha from Clean House? She got married at Le Blanc Resort (same as Lindz) and it was beautiful!!! I've been struggling with what to do with my hair... and Trisha has two starfish on her hair instead of flowers. I actually have two blue starfish and didn't know what to do with it... I am now debating between the flowers and starfish...

I'll try to have fun and shots will be a must!! I have an appointment with Christine Tremoulet www.christinetremoulet.com/boudoir. I liked the pics on her site, she is very nice and encouraging and her prices are in my budget. She actually has a special going on right now and I got a 1 hr session with 3 outfits for $250. She also has more expensive packages that are longer sessions, but I wasn't ready to be uncomfortable for 3 hrs!! blush2.gif

I am going to use her too and so is my friend Shelly. She is really nice over email!!! We should meet up while your here in HOUSTON!

So what are you going with for your JP wedding vs your Mexico wedding?  I am in the same boat and since I've procrastinated with the Mexico dress (getting married in December and it's already AUGUST!) I've got to find something soon!!!  I was thinking flowy beachy dress for Mexico but then saw so many brides with more traditional type gowns so I am confused.  Then to top it off with what to wear for JP wedding...short and cute or flowy or traditional types???  So many decisions!!

That is a screamin' deal!!!  You'd better be ready to hustle your booty cuz 3 outifts in one hour will be challenging.

I have mixed feelings about them in general (ie I think they're a waste of money and a simple basket placed out would suffice just fine).  Also, I'm not keen on trying to bring down extra stuff - so unless the cardbox were to fold down etc. for travel then I'm disinclined.

However, what about security (a friend of mine says its something I need to consider)?  Do card boxes actually make it less likely that someone would go by and steal cards?  Couldn't someone just then take the whole box?

But... it's an outside venue at a resort with a lot of other people who could maybe lurk and grab?

What are people thinking of doing?  What did you married ladies do?  Does the resort have a cardbox you can use?  Did you set up your gift table well "within" the space where your reception was so that it was safer?  Am I totally just over thinking something that's a non-issue?

I just worry about it because I imagine that if anyone brings anything gift-wise to the wedding it would likely be cards (hopefully, since I don't really want to lug wedding gifts home from Mexico  haha).

I have to be honest, but I've never heard of a cardbox.  Is it to hold the cards (most likely having cash/checks/gift cards in them) that people could give as gifts?  If that's the case then I wouldn't worry about this at all.  Theft shouldn't be a problem as outsiders will stear clear of your wedding.  Plus, there will be waiters, hotel staff, WC, and Lomas staff around.

We were very clear that we didn't want gifts brought to Mexico, and no one did.  We did get a card or two, but guests gave us those either the days leading up to the wedding or after the wedding.  Since a DW isn't a traditional wedding, a gift table isn't something I think I've ever seen at one.  Your guests will see you and have chances to give you cards at times other than the reception.  Most likely they'll take advantage of a quiet moment when you're not around other people.  That's the beauty of a DW...quality time with your guests!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
