What?????!!!!  That is just sick and evil.  I agree that you need to print everything and keep copies of it.  Since this is bullying, can the school help?

I've emailed the school and they will address the issues when the kids go back to school.  I'm hoping they will just get over it and stop being so ignorant.  If not, I will file a police report.

I have Kiara...I really like her.....usuually she gets back to me within 24 hours and mostly with the answers I want :)

I heard from her this morning..so I know she's there today.  Sometimes it is easier and quicker to call over there and talk to them directly and then follow up with email so you have something in writing.

There are moderators that can alter/delete posts...I'm not sure though if that is considered a "bad" post though.  Maybe PM one of the moderators and double check...It could be that they are thinking you might be "selling"  when that is not your intention. Probably just a misundertanding..

Can you guys let me know if there are rules like this?  Or maybe my computer just has a glitch and I'm just being paranoid!  :)

Sorry, just needed to vent!

I am so sorry to hear you are going through that.  Adults joining in on bullying behavior is, in my opinion, all too common these days and inexcusable.  As a lawyer, I have to admit my first reaction is to tell you to keep a printed record of everything and to take them to court for harassment and or slander if need be.  But I know that's not an ideal response, as the real thing you want is just for it to stop and for everything to be better for your daughter.

Regardless, I just want you to know that my heart goes out for you on this.  I truly hope things get better soon.

That parent deserves to be arrested for harassment and assault.  You are not allowed to write things like that about a minor!  What a horrible person!!  I can only imagine how your daughter feels - 13 is such a hard age for girls as it is - without some trashy mother-daughter combo acting like that on an online forum.  I would start with a concerned call to the mother, and if it does not stop, I would contact the police.  Then again, people like that are unstable, and so ignoring it might be the best bet if it will go away thereafter.

That is AWFUL!  My 15 year old cousin endured something similar last year but parents weren't involved but there was a good deal of crap being said and threats through facebook.  My aunt printed all the pages and went to the school.  The 2 ring leaders were punished...maybe suspended. I don't remember

I have Kiara, she is good with responses to emails and quotes on things but if you aren't getting a good response call the office.

Thank you!! LOL that's funny I totally read through a whole bunch of posts after mine as well. I'm STILL a wedding junkie, if not MORE, I'm not kidding you, I really think I'm going to try and go in that direction somehow.

That's awesome Amy.  Did they interview you or only your photog? I am still in awe of your pictures, the different locations and angles that Chris got.  He is amazing, but you really wow'ed everyone with your personal touches and uniqueness.

Thanks girl, I'm on my way up for sure!

I had to answer ONE MILLION QUESTIONS in minute detail, wasn't fun. Thanks girlie, I just finally got all our Pro pix from both weddings and put them up on FB, that took like 2 days. Thank you, such sweet compliments! It's funny, I sometimes look at my wedding and think I could have done better or used color maybe ;) I know it's not fun and festive but it's very much me and DH. We don't wear bright colors really... I was hoping too they'd show more details but eh, I can't complain!

WOW, that really makes me sick! What kind of parent would condone this sort of behavior from their child let alone promote it and join in?! That's just disgusting... I'd really look into the legal side of this. You're child doesn't deserve that, no matter what's going on. Just stay strong and keep your morales in, being the bigger person sucks sometimes but your child will respect you and you can show her what it means to be an adult unlike that other "parent"... yikes so ridiculous! hug2.gif

This was my favorite thread when I was a B2B... I posted mine one night and I swear it's like 2,000 words long, it's huge. You have some great tips! I wish I would have thought of the smoking rule, everyone smokes that I know but no one would have listened to it :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
