Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Oh, and I forgot who else had mentioned switching to the El Dorado for some "honeymoon" time but I thought I'd share the deal I found.  Excellence Riviera Cancun has 25% off rooms if you book before October 31st and you can get a honeymoon package for free.  :o)

And the VIP ocean front suite with outdoor jacuzzi is only $100/per couple more than a standard jacuzzi suite at the El Dorado Maroma.  Easy decision for me!

Unfortunately I can't see it (still in silly NOOB status).  Hopefully I'll become a jr. member today or tomorrow (let's see how many people's posts I can reply to  hahaa.  Then I'll come back and take a peek.  cool.gif

Hey girls,

Was looking to get an opinion on this dress.  I think it's the perfect color, totally cute, inexpensive, and to top it off it's ID number is the same as my FI's work ID - mean to be!  But, one of my BM's said it's not very beachy.  I think it looks like a BM's dress though.

Thoughts???

I let all of mine choose dresses and they did ask over and over what I wanted them to get, etc....  If I had 1 like Wedny, I can see picking it, but I had 4 with VERY different bodies, so letting them pick made the most sense to me.

I would love to find a BM dress for $30...that's great!  Since I am probably only going to have 1 girl..I'm just basically going to let her pick...that way the price is totally up to her...we'll decide on a color but as long as she is happy, I'm happy (hopefully)

I liked the $30 dress, I just wonder if the hips would be lost on a 13 year old girl.  It looked a little structured.  But if it fit well, and you like, then go for it!  Unless you want a "beachy" theme, I would not worry about the dress not being beachy enough.  I went with beachy, and everyone had flowy dresses, etc - as did I.  And the guys all in linen.  But if thats not what you are going for, I love the more formal fitted outfits in Mexico.  It looks very classy!

So..I haven't heard back from my TA yet...but I am 99% sure now that we will be at Azul the 1st week...and then switch over to El Dorado Royale for the 2nd week.

Even switching to a Premium Swim Up Suite to still get the Free Sweet Wedding...we will be saving about $100 (not a lot but that's another hundred for something else).

Has anyone stayed at EDR?  I'm thinking this will make me (us) happy because it is a change of venue...no kids.....But still Karisma :)

Thank you so much Jaime!  You are AWESOME!

Hey girls, sorry I’m not on here much, but I had to chime in on Julia’s comment (hopefully I figured out how to "quote" correctly!) …My fiance and I actually joined Exotic Travelers during our site visit in March!  It just made sense to join for our wedding/honeymoon, then we will use it for traveling for many years to come.  If any of you are planning a site visit before your wedding, I’d be more than happy to let you use my “Friends in Paradise”.  I wouldn’t recommend using it during your wedding since there is a 2 hour tour, but if your interested in going anytime before that it will save you 50%!  Just let me know if your interested and I’ll send let you know the details.

Happy Planning!

Jaime

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
