Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

I really like the dress....that's such a great beachy color and that style can look good on so many different body types...it's not too grown up for the 13 years olds..and it's not too 13 year old for the adults....

Does your BM not like the dress or does she just not think it's beachy enough?

Hey girls,

Was looking to get an opinion on this dress.  I think it's the perfect color, totally cute, inexpensive, and to top it off it's ID number is the same as my FI's work ID - mean to be!  But, one of my BM's said it's not very beachy.  I think it looks like a BM's dress though.

Thoughts???

That is so nice of you...FI and I will be there for 2 whole weeks...so 2 hours to save 50%  might not be too bad for us....

What would I/you need to do for that?

You can PM me or email me at marlagutov@gmail.com

Thank you :)

Hey girls, sorry I’m not on here much, but I had to chime in on Julia’s comment (hopefully I figured out how to "quote" correctly!) …My fiance and I actually joined Exotic Travelers during our site visit in March!  It just made sense to join for our wedding/honeymoon, then we will use it for traveling for many years to come.  If any of you are planning a site visit before your wedding, I’d be more than happy to let you use my “Friends in Paradise”.  I wouldn’t recommend using it during your wedding since there is a 2 hour tour, but if your interested in going anytime before that it will save you 50%!  Just let me know if your interested and I’ll send let you know the details.

Happy Planning!

Jaime

She just said it's not very beachy, but she will wear whatever.  So, we will see.  I just sent them a few more options.  I'm just in the beginning stages.  I was just trying to find a non-traditional "bridesmaid dress" to keep costs down.  That dress is only $30.00!!

This is a great dress!  Love the color and I think it will go well with both age groups.  "Beachy" doesn't really matter as long as you like it and it fits with the overall look of your wedding.  I would definitely say this dress is more formal, but it's so darn cute how could not go with it??

I would love to find a BM dress for $30...that's great!  Since I am probably only going to have 1 girl..I'm just basically going to let her pick...that way the price is totally up to her...we'll decide on a color but as long as she is happy, I'm happy (hopefully)

Oh and another quick bit of advice about choosing a BM dress: Many brides have tried to go what they think is the nicer and easier route by getting opinions from their BMs about what works and what doesn't, about what they like and what they don't, and in the long run it usually ends up being more hassle than it's worth.  I let my MOH choose her dress and it dragged on for months and months.  I wish I had just made the decision for her, and I've heard others say the same.  But that's just me!

I have her and I like her. She does take about 48 hours to get back to me but she has done everything she said she would and she is really nice!

We had Fay right away and did the date confirmation with her but I think that was due to my FMIL called Fabio and was a tad pushy

I like it! and You can't beat $30!!! I have a custom made Vera Wang BM dress that I wore that cost me over $400 and my favorite BM dress I ever had to wear was $50 out of the newport News Catalog. HA! I am 27 dresses! I have been in 14 weddings. That is a big reason I am not having BMs. I been in their shoes too many times! HA

Thanks ladies for all the input on the dress.  I'm keeping an eye out still but this one is definitely a contender.  :o)  And Maggie, I know how you feel with the money that goes into just being in someone's wedding.  So, I'm trying to take it easy on them.

cjb0arder13 - It's from a site called 2cute2trendy.com.  I just did a search for turquoise dresses and found the site.  Good luck with the search!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
