Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Yeah, it's really addictive. I can't believe your FI watches it with you! Mine would have nothing to do with it. He still tolerates it though. Even though I'm married I just can't seem to stop watching certain shows!

I'm addicted to Bridezillas! Those ladies are CRAZY!!! Some days I say I really hope that I'm not like these women but other days I'm like I'm about to become a BRIDEZILLA!!!! LOL

AMMMMMYYYY!! So cute!

Now, I have to ask b/c I had the same kind of moment yesterday, did you totally forget parts of your wedding and the pictures you tookhuh.gif My friend posted these pics on facebook and I was like "wow I did get pictures with so and so and so and so...." I totally had forgotten all about it. I thought I was forgetting things b/c of too much tequila but really at that point I had 1/2 glass of champagne.... It just is so intense its hard to remember everything. Now I cant wait to get my pro pics to start remembering!

The donkey is definitely still allowed at the resort. They will ask you in your planning meeting if you want the donkey or no donkey. I said - YES DONKEY!

I think you Gazebo decorators need to check out Lomas's website. The exotic gazebo is $220 and includes 4 sheets of fabric. Point your WCs to this website and say this is what you want!!!!

Exotic Gazebo
4 poles with sheer fabric, 2 large hanging corsages with 25 pastel or tropical flowers each one, and petals from 48 roses.

All of the contradictions are crazy because I'm getting the donkey cocktail hour and was told that the donkey was definitely not allowed at the resort anymore. It really doesn't matter to be because I just chose that cocktail hour because of the food that was offered but I would've opted to have him there if it was offered.

Here's my veil which is a tulle cage veil. I had it made and my hair dresser pinned it to my head perfectly: (Excuse these pictures and my face, they just showed my veil)

Now see, you got your donkey pictures wink.gif He really is a cutie! He was a major selling point for us, but once we realized we wouldn't get to enjoy b/c we'd be taking pictures, we scrapped him.
Yeah it is! DH pretends to not watch it but always comments and asks me questions from a distance in our living room wink.gif Bridezillas and My Fair Wedding, I love as well! I always try to figure out what David would have changed with my wedding!

Those are guest photos though, not even pro! I know... I got him really for my guests, they FLIPPED when they saw him and we're totally entertained. I just wanted one posed picture with him. At least I have something :)

YES! When I got my pro photos, I looked through them and was like, I don't remember this photo, how did they take this without me knowing? Where, huh?! I had 2 photographers and they were stealth. I also wasn't drunk, I think I got through a glass of champange and a signature drink by after 9pm. I couldn't eat because I was so excited and wasn't drinking for some reason... naturally drunk off the fun maybe? LOL! I quickly remedied that by demanding shots.

The Exotic Gazebo setup is exactly what I got... I have a friend picture I'll find for you... I really liked it, just told them to do all white flowers with natural greens. You can request whatever colors you want as long as they have it in stock.

Hey Ladies< i wanted to check and show my excitment for all the upcoming brides, Its so cool to see so many brides going to Azul Sensatori. We should be getting some sort of offsite wedding coordinator fee, we do a fantastic job of planning and support :) hehe

After reading a few pages, I see a few things have changed.

Chong, Im so glad I told you about this blog and that you found your way around on here- isn't it amazing!!! Looks like the gazebo fabric price went up on you, booo!! That totally sux. Sometimes if you write a email asking for them to honor the price you heard it was before their may be somthing they can work out for you. OR maybe even inquire about it with the onsite? Maybe they will atleast give you a resort credit and you can use they credit for a massage or twards wedding day hair style or somthing ;0huh.gif

Also, I remember trying to order drinks to room service and them saying no only beer, but we found an employee that was super nice and we talked to him about it and he said he would bring up drinks lol we threw $20 to bring 10 margaritas and 10 shots up and he did it :0, again TIPS GO ALOOOOOONG way. Believe me, he came back up a few times for orders lol.

Anyways, Im enjoying all your pics and so excited for upcoming brides. Who's nexthuh.gif Meganhuh.gifhuh.gif?? wink.gif

Ok, I must be a total doofus because I've had all of the Lomas information and completely forgot about it. $220 for all of that isn't too bad! Much better than $300 for 2 pieces of fabric, with NO flowers...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
