Thanks Chong, but I wasn't able to pull it up. BDW says I don't have access to attachments? Not sure why. Can you email the pics to me? [email protected]

Thanks a bunch!!

Thanks a bunch!!

You have to reach 150 posts and reach Junior status before you can open attachments. Or pay BDW $25 and you can open them right away.

Sometimes I wonder how much Tiffany and the other much hate this forum. I find out such useful information on it and armed with that info I often go back to her and push the issue. She's got to know I am referring to the girls on this forum when I say I "talked" to other brides and they were approved for XY and Z. Ha. Sometimes I wonder if they come on here and see what we are posting. Ha. I doubt it...too busy with all the weddings I suppose but funny to think about.Oh well.

Strength in numbers!! Lol. I say the same thing to my WC Cecile and she is sometimes caught by surprise, but when she looks deeper into things she's like...ok, you were right, we do offer that! I love it because they're so busy nickle and diming us and they sometimes try to get away with too much.

Since Chong is looking for a photog maybe the two of you can share the cost of the one you're bringing? Just a suggestion since I have no clue what times you are getting married, etc.

Long story short we got to mexico and it wasn't until a few days after when one of our groomsmen showed up with the grooms pants, WE DIDNT EVEN REALIZE HIS PANTS WEREN"T IN OUR PACKAGE. Thank god they contacted a person in our group that had not yet left for mexico to come pick up the grooms pants and bring them to us :)

We're renting from Men's Wearhouse and they are actually reasonable. We told them we're doing a DW and they are allowing us to have the tuxs out for 6 days for no extra charge. Just tell them what's going on.

I know what you mean! I've been on this forum since September I think, and I still haven't reached Junior level yet! I guess I'm more of a lurker than a poster...gotta start posting more too!

Celina, I think we have all felt that one way or another - wanting to switch resorts. And a couple if us did. I felt like that a few times but the fact that everyone walks away happy from their wedding has kept me with Azul. Go on to the other chat groups on this forum and see the difficulties the other brides are working with and really - its pretty much all of the same thing we deal w/ Azul. And, those brides don't walk away 100% satisifed.

You still have time to book and bring down a photog with you and I can guarantee that is cheaper than the other Mexican photogs that the resort does not allow you to use. For example, I am paying $4,300 for Claudia PLUS the $500 outside vendor costs (I booked over a year ago when she was still approved vendor). I know for a fact that you can get a US photog to stay at the resort and take pictures all day and a trash the dress the next day and it will cost you less than I am paying for 8 hours of Claudia.

Who/what did you want? Elizabeth Medina would have been nmice but she is $6K plus you have to pay the $500 outisde vendor fee plus she makes you pay for one night at the hotel for her b/c its a long wasy for her to travel. So $7K later.... You could get a seriously awesome photograoher for that cost!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
