Amy, Love the hair!!! I love those pinned curls. They look awesome and will totally go with your theme.

Katie, saw the news today. Looks like things are getting back to normal with travel in the UK.

Amy, re your list - what else are you planning on doing in Mexico besides going to Costco? I am trying to stay away from doing much of anything while there so I can really enjoy my time with family & friends. I know some details will need to be taken care of, but my sister had my mom and I working like crazy the 3 days leading up to her wedding and I was exhausted!

Thanks Katie & Amy!

I really like the waves, I think it suits my dress and cage tulle veil perfectly! It was done super messy just because my hair after 2 other styles wasn't cooperating but I have no doubt she'll nail it on wedding day!

Katie - I heard on the news that Heathrow is flying again, WAAAAHOOOO!!!!!

LOL, Married life is fabulous! punk.gif
together for 6 years now and a daughter, it's back to reality for us :)
But I must share, I feel so much more complete now... Things were always complete for us, but NOW I feel awesome. Hard to describe. Long story short, I didn't have a story book life. My mom has not really ever been there for me my whole life, And when i met Kenny, he took on many roles for me, but overall, he is my prince, and I feel he rescued me... hug2.gif

I took pics of my house wedding week, it consisted of piles everywhere!
I wish I would have been more organized, then I wouldn't have forgot my garter or my daughters wedding shoes LOL..

Love the hair Amy! very elegant.

I have a question for everyone. For those who have planned your processional music, how long are you having a song play for just you to walk down the aisle? For those who have already gotten married, how long did it take you to walk down, and how long did you play a song for?

Meghan,
I played the over the rainbow song,I downloaded the longest version of the song and artist I wanted. Then when we got to mexico, we timed it out for how many ppl we had and when we started the music. So basically we had everyone line up on the top of the stairs( you have to take stairs down to beach) then had the music begin when Kenny walked his mom down and then everyone else (in the wedding party) followed. I believe with our ppl and myself took a total of almost 4mins or a little over. We stoppped the song after my father gave me away. Then we played a song while we did the sand ceremony also. It was so beautiful, and we didn't even think of all that until the onsite suggested that along with a song for when all 4 witness sign all the paper work. I think they signed 4 pages each and the photographer took pics during this as well... It takes a few minutes.

Meaghan, I'm actually going to let my processional song play out and have a few more songs that will play if people want to hang around in between the time we leave and when the coordinators direct my guests down to my cocktail hour on the beach.
Amy, if your song is not finished by the time you get down, are you just going to wait for it to finish? Are you having your bridal party walk down to the same song you are playing?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
