Hey girls

my review is up....sorry it took sooooo long. Life has been crazy, starting work at a new place in 4 weeks and trying to finish up projects around the house(built a fence this weekend) since wedding planning is not on my agenda anymoresad.gif

I went to micheal's the other day and I was really sad that I didn't need to look at wedding things....

Enjoy it girls and try not to stress!!!!(easier said than done)

If anyone has questions please don't hesitate to ask!!!!!!

sad.gif I hope you get this sorted out - that sucks. has anything else happened since you posted this? surely if they know they've lost them, they know you must have had promotional rates? is there NOTHING they can do for you??

YES!!!! Here I was thinking my list was almost finished but I keep adding to it. Damnit!!

On a less stressed note, I'm all smiles and goosebumps today! I'm finally getting really, really excited!!! It helps that my sister (& MOH) has just told me that they're planning two bridal showers for me while we're in Mexico and she's working on a bachelorette during our AHR weekend.

The first bridal shower is a luncheon with all the women and the second is the night before the wedding and is a "Lingerie and sexy things" party with just us younger ladies!

And yes, it's true that my bachelorette won't happen until after I'm actually married, but that's okay with me. Many of my close friends have moved away and will be coming in for the AHR reception, so I'm okay with waiting. As long as I get to hang with my girls, I don't care when it happens!

STARTING Monday, March 22nd 2010 ENDING Friday, April 2nd 2010
We will check in with what is done either as itâ€s done or every other Friday and start a new list
Katie's to-do's:
- finalise songs for ceremony - still doing
- FI to order his suit trousers for TTD - DONE!
- carry on working out - have to confess I have slacked since I did my BD shoot but i will be up and running again from tomorrow!
- research and try to find as cheap as possible guest signing frame for Mexico -may be scrapping this idea as haven't been able to find one small enough for only about 10 messages from guests
- look for materials for AHR table decorations and favours - DONE
- update wedding budget spreadsheet with spending - DONE
- update wedding spreadsheet with RSVPs for AHR - DONE
- find cake stand for AHR wedding cake - DONE, just need to call and book

New to-dos:
- finalise songs for ceremony (i'm getting bored of putting this one down now!)
- change work out regime to shock my body in last month :)
- call and book cake stand for AHR
- final fitting tomorrow (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and will be deciding if I have ivory or pink shoes!! (I bought both colours in the same shoe as I couldn't decide!)
- find out weight of wedding dress tomorrow
- sort out details and outfit for hen night on Saturday!!!
- make meal choices and confirm to WC
- buy gift for my brother (he's doing our photos at our AHR)

does anyone have any ideas for the last onehuh.gif? we're all out of creativity at the moment with spending 2 hours trying to work out a seating plan...brain's dead!! HELP! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
