This sounds like Tiffany. If you have an email with your quoting the $50 use it to your advantage. If she doesn't budge, I would speak with her supervisor.

I am so livid - they are trying to blame it all on Francisco who is no longer the WC at the hotel. We went on a site visit and they are trying to say that becuase he didn't leave any notes in "our file", etc. that we cannot have this space - um, no. I am livid. My TA is trying to work this out, but I may need to do it myself.

Azul Beach brides - do any of you have a print out of the reception options before they recently changed them? Since I didn't think they would screw with me, I never thought to print out the options that were available back in November! I am supposed to get married in 6 weeks - yes, 36 days. are you freaking kidding me?!
Tiffany's Supervisior is Fabio, his extention is 7203. I only deal with him now. TIffany is a big fat smile27.gif

Buying pasminas was the best thing I did! I actually bought them in bulk. I went in on a bride group order from this website and got them for $3 each!!! I got one for every woman that was attending my wedding in mexico. And I ended up having them tied around my beach chairs(for colored bows) so It doubled as a favor and bows! I got 3 different colors, pink, silver and charcol gray. Then the guest were directed to take one when It was over. Worked out fantastic! It gets cold at night there and the guest kept coming up to me saying what an awesome idea that was!
It was a complete impulse buy. I kept seeing them on planning threads with the "To have and to hold and keep you from the cold" and I loved the idea! I bought 19 for now in fuschia, orchid, light purple and light pink. I'm curious to know what "orchid" looks like! I got them for $3 each.

I'm curious to see how you had them tied around the chairs? Do you have a picture of it?

The Canadian dollar is so good right now I just want to shop like crazy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
