Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hey girls, I have been MIA for awhile, needed a little break from the wedding planning so I had a lovely weekend with the FI rented and watched three movies and just snuggled! Probably slept too much but that's okay. So, I really need to start posting more, I find myself doing more reading than anything! I really need to bump up my membership though so I can start opening some of the links that are posted!

I know a lot of my questions are repeats but, I heard someone talking about buying "real touch flowers" for their centerpieces and bridal bouquets. Does anyone have more info on this? I did a quick google search, but didn't find a site for just real touch flowers, lots of sites that sold them. I was wondering if there was a site that people were ordering them from? Also, lomas increased their price for the fabric that they use to decorate the gazebo, the price doubled! I refused to pay 150 dollars for one piece of rented fabric! What are you girls doing for ceremony decor?

OMG you couldn't look bad if you tried! I did my own makeup too. I did not by any means do a fantastic job, but I never look at my pics and think "OMG my makeup is awful" lol. You'll do fine!!

I am buying 2 pieces of fabric, but I was quoted $75 for each piece...this was before christmas though. Some people are bringing their own fabric, however, be careful with this, because they charge you a set up fee which is around $100 dollars. They will not let you set anything up yourself, so if you bring fabric you need to give it to them and pay them to set it up.

My hairstylist is actually coming to my wedding and I asked if she minded doing my wedding hair and she's excited to do it, I got really lucky! She did my BD shoot hair which I LOVED and that hair stayed for 3 days, loved it.

I bought real touch flowers, I am about to get my final proof pictures any day now and I'll put up some pictures once I get them. http://www.sharonnagassardesigns.com/ is where I got mine from.

Awww, thanks Nicole! This morning, waking up at what now is 4am, after tossing and turning all night, wedding nightmares and general bad sleep, I look like a zombie.

Thanks for the information. It may not be worth bringing your own. I may just ask for them to set-up a piece of white fabric from the hotel. In a perfect word, the hotel would have a wedding closet with stuff from previous brides for future brides to use. I am sure some of the stuff I am brining down I wont care about returning with and it is only going to be used once. This is my cheap and not wasting mind thinking.

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone had a good weekend. We had a crazy Saturday night, which declared Sunday lazy couch day.

I did however buy some pashmina's from another BDW bride. It actually feels like I accomplished something... even if it wasn't on my list. Every little bit counts!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
