Off the top of my head I can't remember. Check out their website (paradisecatamarans.com). They have two price ranges: up to 22 guests and over 22 guests. It's a flat rate as long as your hotel falls within the right range, and AS should. I'm thinking the prices are $200 or $350 roundtrip, but you should double check that.

No other time are they sold out and there are tons of other weekends where there are multiple weddings and rooms are still avaialble. they will not let me get on awaiting list - howvere they say her 10 rooms are booked to people on the waiting list. I am soooooo annoyed! 40+ rooms disappeared in a week. I think there is either a famous/rich person getting married there or someone who works at Karisma who has the hook up internally.

I am going to keep trying, but it looks like a lost cause :-(

BUMMER

Aw that is a huge bummer! I was really thinking this would work out for you at AB. Any news on the Villa?

KittenHeart,

I picked up the tags today from the post office. Thanks so much!!! I'm going to cut off the bottom part and they'll be perfect! These are such a nice treat for me b/c they weren't something that had even crossed my mind. Now *poof!* this great idea has popped into my lap! I'm going to ship them ahead of time along with our programs/itinerary, so that guests get them as they check in!smile159.gif

Has anyone already had their wedding there? Or even visited?

What did you think about the food? We're expecting 80 guests so I'm planning the private reception. I just want to make sure the qaulity and taste of food justifies the cost.

Please let me know!

Thanks!
welcome to our little family Amanda!! monkey.gif

I know the girls have already answered these questions, but if you have any more, just ask away and someone on here will be able to help :)

I am ridiculous about cakes. I think they can look so cute! I love all the unique cakes on the knot.com right now. I will definitely be spending some $$$ on my cake. :)

And triple 7's and the number 4 are my favorite numbers!

UGH! I am sorry you are having to deal with this drama. Is there anyway your agent can pull some strings? Have you tried booking through Orbitz or Expedia? I know that is risky but you may be able to find some rooms through there. Also, if you go to tripadvisor and search Azul Beach. You can then click something that says "get prices" or "book rooms." It will pull up like 10 booking sites. Like I said, this CAN be risky but I would give it a shot.

You're welcome! I'm glad you like them :) They are good quality and I thought it was a brilliant idea when it came to me months and months ago. I had the hardest time finding them cheap too.

Don't you love that when things just work out that you never thought of? That's the best!

Oh man... that would be so effing funny!! Maybe you'll get a celebrity guest appearance at your wedding and you can chew them out about all the stress it caused you and then make them hang out and dance :)

Man I go nuts over cakes for some reason and rarely even try them! Ambiance I guess :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
