Hey Leslie! Congrats and welcome!!! I second Amy: get a good travel agent!!! If you don't trust yours or you think she is being shady, she probably is! The one I finally decided on (after looking at 5 or 6) is fab!!

Lindz, Its so hard to say. Azul beach has only 98 rooms, so thats a problem to begin with. But I booked at the height of swine flu & a recession so I never thought they'd sell out in February! April or May at the earliest...

 

I would suggest you call the hotel - both the reservations and the wedding department. I spoke to both and they were really nice and helpful.

 

It was the same story my TA was telling me, but they had more ideas as to what to do and explained it better.

 

I think we are going to book at AS and asked to be changed to AB if/when rooms free up. My one friend is also bunking w/ one of my bridemaids. So, we are trying all we can. I am much less stressed now. Takes 2 days to de stress !!! LOL

Hi Everyone. Talis and I are confirmed for May 7, 2011!!

 

I am trying to put together my room block, and I was hoping to get a little help from you guys...

 

Does anyone know what room types are shown in the attached picture? Both the ocean front (yellow dot) and the row of swim ups beside it (yellow line). I think they are the Premium Swim-ups, but I'm not certain. My travel agent has been getting a slow response from Karisma, which isnt helping.

 

I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to attach a picture, so hopefully you guys are able to see the pic??

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
