I got everything on my list done except for the welcome letters. At this point I am not going to do welcome letters and just make the OOT bags a surprize. Its just another thing to take down and well we are really trying to conserve on space. I am going to guess everyone will still like thier OOT bags without a welcome letter.

Anyway, I am off work thankfully for the next 2 weeks. I just got my pedi today and am off to run a few last minute errands before I go back home and resume packing.

I was reading about having a rehursal for the wedding and it was never offered to me either. Of course I have Tiffany and she is well not great with details. At this point I am not even going to bring it up with her and just talk to the onsite about it. We don't have a large wedding party or anything but to get everyone on the same page would be very good.

PS. Its snowing here and the low on Wed. is 8 degrees when we leave. I am so ready for the beach and some sun!! bunny_4.gif
Have a great time Andrea! All the best to you.

I will definitely check that out. I'm liking the hot pink and grey. I didn't even think of that until you had mentioned it before. I also really like the hot pink and chocolate brown. It's funny, I thought I was all about the blue but I think deep down I really wanted the pink. Pink is just me.

I got an email from Tiffany today, she mentioned a 14/person 4 hour private banquet including a 3 course meal and open bar, this seems reasonable, the best part is the private location. I found out that you cannot add a dinner reservation to the pearl package, of course not. The pearl package also does not include the sand ceremony, do you girls know if we can bring our own sand etc to do the sand ceremony to save whatever cost the resort wants for this? I emailed Tiffany to ask her what the sand ceremony would cost to add to the pearl package, but I was thinking it would make more sense to bring my own stuff.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
