Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

hi ladies,

As I mentioned a while back I am going to the Azul in March to check it out...but have been reading on Trip Advisor that there are 2-3 weddings a day!

I am not sure how much I like that...what has everyone else's experiences/thoughts been with this?

Also I know some hotels like Dreams Cancun offers only 1 wedding per day. Did anyone consider this hotel? I am going to check it out while down there at AS...

From people who I have talked to who have gotten married at Azul, they said they didn't even notice that another wedding was going on because the coordinators were so good at giving everyone the attention they needed...I dont think it is a problem

I too heard this... I also heard that Azul maxes at 2 weddings per day. My wedding will be on the Sky Deck so we won't be seeing anyone else and I have a private reception at Zocollo terrace so no one will be close to us anyways. Besides, I could see myself seeking out a beach wedding reception after mine and going and saying congrats to the other bride! haha :)

I'm getting married at Azul Beach and they only do 1 wedding per day. fyi. But it's a much much smaller boutique-style hotel.

We'll be sending out an evite for this sailing trip in a couple weeks. When people reply they'll have the option of telling us if they want the open bar option. Not everyone in our party drinks, so this is a good way for us to only pay for those who want it.
RSVP is a good idea. We may just do the drink option. I agree the food sounds ok and the resort will be much better.

What wedding package are you doing? We went with the Pearl b/c the Sky wedding is so expensive & the basic stuff is in the package we want. The only problem I just ran into is that the WC told me we got have a Welcome dinner in one of the restaurants for an extra coast and now she is saying we can't b/c the resort doesn't offer this option. It is only for the Silver/Gold Package. But the price of the Sky Wedding and Pearl package equal the same as the Silver package so I think it is stupid.

Wow Amy, you are so organized. I'm starting to wonder if i'm to "chill".

I have some songs picked but I thought we would just wing the rest. Here are my choices

I AM 24 DAYS AWAY GIRLS!!!

What is everyone doing for their focal songs?

Meaning...

Grooms aisle song- Better Toghether-Jack Johnson

Bridal party (processional) aisle song - One Love-Kaya

Bride aisle song - One Love Kaya

Wedding party (recessional) aisle song -Lucky-Jason Mraz & Colbie Callet

(the beach wedding i was at nobody even heard these songs,we were all caught up in the moment)

Reception entrance song -no song

First dance song - Not decided Better Together or Lucky

Father/daughter song -not doing

Mother/son song -not doing

The rest of the songs we will just see how we feel,i guess:)

Cake cutting song-

Bouquet toss song -

Garter toss song -

Last song of the night -

Let me know too if I'm forgetting a category :)

I actually booked my wedding SO long ago I was able to get the Sweet Free Wedding Package and added the Sky Deck. So my package came with the free dinner for 40 and the honeymoon dinner and breakfast in bed.

So - no one knows this except for you all and FI and I but I am dying - I am getting married tomorrow!!!!!!

Here are the 2 locations - the Registry General is out b/c they close at 12pm and Mark gets in at 11:30am, so it doesn't work out. Tomorrow is going to be just about us. We have our neighbors who have been married 33 years as our witnesses, and the Pastor.

I have always loved this Park in Bermuda, it was across the street from the first house mark and I first lived in. I am super excited!

Location #1 below is in an inlet in case its too windy for up by location #2.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
