From what I know of you, I think you will try to make it super cute and do all this stuff for it (I would be the same way)...I think you should definitely do it if it doesn't stress you out!!!!!! It will be nice for yall to get to celebrate with the fam!

HAHA! You already know me too well :)

You're totally right, this I would have to let happen. Also, from what was mentioned to me, they would do it 4 months after my wedding so like in September which is good, gives me a little time off and I wouldn't go crazy out of my way for it.

As a gift from one of my close friends, she is a professional film editior and he is a camera man for television and movies out here in LA are actually borrowing a really pro video camera and offered as my wedding gift to professional film and edit a wedding video for me. This is the most amazing gift to me so I figured I'd be able to show this to everyone at my AHR as well :)

Thanks Meghan! I agree :) Especially if someone is going to do it for me, I won't interfere too much :) My Italian side of the family throws the best parties, tons and tons of homemade Italian food and lots of booze and laughter.

Thanks Lindz! I've been speechless about that gift for awhile now, it means so much to me!

I think it may be too long for YouTube... don't they have a 30 minute max? I'll figure out some way to get it so you all can watch it :)

Side note - I've been extra emotional all of a sudden, our first dance song never made me cry, now I'm balling at work... I'm worried I'm going to be a pile of mashed bride by wedding day, LOL!

Honestly though I have also seen pictures of weddings in Mexico without centerpieces and they look lovely too. Its like the wedding pictures - yes the flowers on the arch/gazebo are nice, but its just as pretty without them.
amy, i love this idea, thank you! it's my top choice now...i just feel like there should be something there. but using this idea means I don't have to do anything in advance and if when I get there and see the tables etc and decide it DOES need something, I can go get some maracas! Genius idea smile29.gif

I have used Vista Print for my AHR invites and I am using Publisher for my inserts with the invites, and our wedding brochure - I just find it really user-friendly and there's so much you can do! that's my vote lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
