We have the photographs available on CD/DVD from a wedding within 48 hours. Matter of fact one of the options I have is to have a slideshow at the reception of wedding photos covering from getting ready through the ceremony.

Fun! Smiles!

Really, you provide unedited photos?

-- My agency, clients, not even my wife see's the unedited work! -- for me, its just not finished until it's been thru the post-production process.

Um, I got married the first week of April and I'm still waiting. I just got my wedding day and TTD slideshows this week (which are FABULOUS) and all my pictures should be coming in the mail next week. It was a long wait. But at least my friends and family gave me their pictures to hold me over.

I am doing better! I got an email from my WC that I should be receiving my renewal video from Tomas in Cabo tomorrow. Does anyone know how you have others view it? I was going to have family/friends view it but wasn't sure how to go about doing that?

Any suggestions??

Be Photography, hi!

Yes, I provide un-edited photos for the option of having wedding day photographs shown at the ceremony. Why not? I'm not ashamed to exhibit my work right out of the camera. Does the post-production process compensate for inequities that are not known by the photographer when the image is created?

I do very little post-process to compensate for what should be accomplished during the create stage of photography.

Depending on the amount of post-processing the photographer does, anything up to six weeks is totally reasonable. I usually work on a 4-6 week turnaround, as I like to make sure that everything is PERFECT, but I make sure to provide a slideshow of some favorite images in the first week or two to tide my brides over. wink.gif

Post processing is a very personal thing. Some great photographers eschew photoshop and similar programs entirely, and some rely heavily on photoshop to express their creativity. Neither answer is wrong, but some options take longer than others.

Personally, I believe in "getting it right" in the camera, but I enjoy the additional creative options provided to me in the digital age. I like the best of both worlds!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
