After party in Cancun/Playa del Carmen

We want to have an after party immediately after the reception, for the younger group (my friends and Fi's friends). Our wedding is going to be at Azul Beach, and we would like our reception to end around 9:00pm, and have everybody gather back at 10:30 or so go out to a beach bar and keep celebrating.

The reason we are doing this is because my parents, grandparents, aunts, etc are bother by today's music. I know its my wedding but we're trying to keep the peace. I don't want to have a super boring reception, I'll still have some nice dance music to warm up people, but the actual fun crazy dancing will happen at the after party.

 

Do any of you guys have any suggestions or where we could go? a nice beach lounge or bar?

Azul is 40 minutes away from both Cancun and Playa, keep in mind. I don't know Cancun but in Playa I would recommend Santanera on Calle 12 between 5th and 10th, it gets going after midnight so if you show up before then you can claim a nice lounge area upstairs for your group. Maybe you can even make a reservation. Fusion is a beach bar with live music on Calle 4 if you want a more rustic beach vibe.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
