hey, ive been keeping an eye on this thread too, b/c i love the concealer and wanted to see if anything got good reviews.

so far, i bought the concealer- love it. mascara- returned it, it was nice but i like mine alil thicker. recently i bought the face wash, i forget the name, but it's pink and its more of a face lotion wash, then a bubbly face wash. i rarely get breakouts and once i used it, i got a few breakouts along my hair line, and all. i think its either b/c my skin is so sensitive, and changing face washes so drastically is never good for sensitive skin, i should have waited a few days or a week even to change face soaps, ORR it felt alil heavier than regular face wash, it has this lotion in it to keep skin soft. it def made my face soft after but just didnt make me feel "clean" like bubbly face wash does, kwim? I want to see if target will take it back, so i can try something else. they had diff types of face wash!

Wow- I need to get my butt to Target. Lately I have been trying to scale down my product $$$ and find alternative "cheaper" products.

Do you use all those products daily Alyssa? Like Jessica I want to start prepping for the future years. I've noticed a down hill trend since 25 sad.gif

Glad to hear they have products for oily skin. I just went and had a facial this week - the lady's personality was horrible and she hurt me soooo badly! And then she had the nerve to talk down to me like it was my fault for having oily/sensitive skin!? wtf.gif I literally wanted to sit up and smack her. UGH

ANYYYYWAYS after all her little comments under her breath about how clogged my pores are, etc. she told me I really need products that are strictly for oily and sensitive skin. Of course they wanted to sell me products that, for example, were $95 for a moisturizer! smile41.gif That said, I marched over to Sephora and the girl there was soooo helpful. I was using Kinerase lotion but it is $75/bottle. She steered me towards one that is $40-45. Much better but still pricey. It helps to "matify" your skin and reduce oils. It feels a little heavy though (might be the spf in it). She also gave me some samples of other brands for a cleanser, restoring serum and alpha hydroxy exfoliating pads. Oh and some samples of a foundation that I really didn't care for. The others are nice but I'd love to find cheaper alternatives!!

I will go check this brand out and let y'all know what I find for those of us with oily skin...

Alyssa, thank you for recommending this stuff!! I needed to find quality yet way cheaper product line so I can save up for the wedding. Okay, I went and picked up some stuff and here is my initial report back:

Lifting and Firming Day Cream: Really, really good except it is heavy and borderline greasy-- I will be wearing it as night cream and in that case-- wish I had gotten the night cream because I don't need the spf. But, I do like it.

Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator: LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reviving Revitalisant: Only used it once but so far, I like it better than the Benefit eye cream I spent $30 on.

Time Dimensions Refining Toning Water: Love it too!

I noticed a difference in my sking the first time I used this stuff, not to sound all info-mercial. I want to get a mask and a few other things but thought I'd try a handful out first. They should make Lifting and Firming Booty Cream. smile117.gif

Okay, here's my report, after a week of trying my new products.

The tinted moisturizer is still great! I have dry skin and it's enough to get me thru a work day.

The lip moisturizer is fantastic. I use it under my lipstick in the morning, and then before bed. Never have my lips felt this good.

Refine and rewind perfecting serum. I don't think I like it as much as the restore and renew. But it comes in a pump and I like that!

The lifting and firming eye cream - love it. My eyes seem a lot less puffy and dark.

The stay perfect eye base is okay. I normally use Clinique's touch base for eyes and I like it better. My shadow stays on better and creases less with the Clinique product than with Boots. On the other hand, the clinique product is $20, and the boots is $7.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
