Hello everyone! My fiancee and I would like to get married in Riviera Maya, but are having a hard time with how to go about finding hotels. Would any of you reccommend getting a wedding planner or negotiating myself? How expensive are wedding planners? Any suggestions on nice hotels along a great beach? Thank you!!!!

Welcome! A lot of the resorts have their own wedding coordinators. There are several great travel agents here on the forum; I'd suggest contacting one of them to help you.

Welcome to the forum! We are getting married the same time next year. I remember feeling like you do! It is overwhelming. A good place to start is by reading through posts in the Riviera Maya section of this forum. I am going to list some helpful websites that I have used along the way: Find a Mexican Resort - StrayWeddings.com - Destination Weddings in Mexico
Playa del Carmen Hotels Information - Visit Playa del Carmen Mexico
Riviera Maya weddings - Wedding planners and wedding coordinators organize beach ceremonies and packages in Riviera Maya
Riviera Maya Hotels, Resorts, Rentals: Mexican Caribbean Vacation

As mentioned before, most hotels/resorts have their own coordinator so a planner usually isn't needed.
              Good luck!!!
