oh yeah, and great review! Nice pictures. you should post more (the link to your del sol slideshow when you get it)

Also, I do think the chapel would be much better in November, spring/summer is so much hotter! Plus the sunsets so much earlier in the fall. If you do a late ceremony rather than afternoon it hopefully won't be too hot.

chibi411 I don't know how you did it in there! It was unbearably hot in the chapel in March, I can't even imagine in June!

So happy and relieved your wedding turned out beautiful. You looked amazing! Love your veil, where did you get it?

Thank you for the advice on the chapel. I'm planning on getting married there for the exact same reasons as you, it's just so beautiful, so Mexican.
But now I'm worried about the heat. My wedding is in late November so maybe it won't be too hot in there. I think I'm just gunna play it by ear and test it out the days before the wedding. If its too hot then we will switch locations (but I hope not too!).

Thanks again!
it was hot, but for me if was worth it, it was so beautiful and amazing. its warm... but you'll be fine. it was warmer for us because we were in the front. the guests said it was def cooler in the back, by the doors

i loved my veil too!! it was like 1500 at the salon, but i found a local lady who did it for 80. and my alterations at the salon was like 600, i got it done for 80 at an asian place, and i loved my bussel

Also, when you get the chance, can you post some pictures of your centerpieces? or any other details! I read your post in the Dreams Tulum post and I'm curious about the glasses from the room to hold the tea lights! SO SMART OF YOU!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
