So, James and I decided to go to Home Depot yesterday and "look" for paint colors. We immediately fell in love with this blue color - - so we bought 2 cans and painted last night!

Only took us 5 and a half hours. We have no clue what else we are doing in the room yet, but knew forsure we wanted it blue. Here's a few fun pics of us painting and a few after pics. I will updated as we do things in the room. Enjoy!

Well Julie, the only thing in the room was Dirk's cage, a tv, rocking chair and a mirror. We never used it, so it was easy to throw everything in the garage. I think we are way ahead of the game. I just wanted to get the painting over it. I knew once I got larger, I would not want to be bending over and trying to paint a room. We will prolly move everything back in there until we decide was else to do.

Thanks girls!!! We had fun doing it :]

I am actually really lucky and my mom is the painter. She kinda likes to do it, just because she is so good at it and loves when its done. So she will probably do it this coming week, as long as I get all the stuff out. We had the room packed, as packed as a room can be. It was the room we just threw everything in, you know like a junk drawer or something, we had a junk room. lol So I still have a desk and lots of just stuff in it. We will get it moved out soon, I just need the motivation and the time. I keep hoping that the nesting stage will kick in soon and I will want to do it. lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
