Luke's Room - Done

Recommended Posts

So, James and I decided to go to Home Depot yesterday and "look" for paint colors. We immediately fell in love with this blue color - - so we bought 2 cans and painted last night!

Only took us 5 and a half hours. We have no clue what else we are doing in the room yet, but knew forsure we wanted it blue. Here's a few fun pics of us painting and a few after pics. I will updated as we do things in the room. Enjoy!

Oh, Lisa you look so cute! That is the perfect color blue, it's almost identical to the color my step son's room was before we re-did his big boy room with a Car's theme (He's almost 6 now).

haha! I just noticed it matched my ticker :]

Abbie - our dog is a little confused as to why we are kicking him outta his room. He kept running in there last night looking for his cage and food....LOL!

I love that room, I love the window, its a really nice room for a baby and I love the colour. You are much farther along then we are, we got a lot of the stuff out of the room, but its still packed and we have not painted yet. lol I hope we get it done before she gets here.

Well Julie, the only thing in the room was Dirk's cage, a tv, rocking chair and a mirror. We never used it, so it was easy to throw everything in the garage. I think we are way ahead of the game. I just wanted to get the painting over it. I knew once I got larger, I would not want to be bending over and trying to paint a room. We will prolly move everything back in there until we decide was else to do.

Thanks girls!!! We had fun doing it :]

I am actually really lucky and my mom is the painter. She kinda likes to do it, just because she is so good at it and loves when its done. So she will probably do it this coming week, as long as I get all the stuff out. We had the room packed, as packed as a room can be. It was the room we just threw everything in, you know like a junk drawer or something, we had a junk room. lol So I still have a desk and lots of just stuff in it. We will get it moved out soon, I just need the motivation and the time. I keep hoping that the nesting stage will kick in soon and I will want to do it. lol
