Thanks for NOT responding!

For future brides if getting rsvp cards is a strain on the budget I say don't bother! Have them email or do it on your website, you'll probably get the same amount of replies either way (although it is cool to get some back in the mail).

My mom, MOH, and a BM didn't rsvp because they thought the card was cute and wanted to save it...lol Then there were those who gave the "you know I'm coming" line...then there were those who sent the card back with a "yes" and didn't end up coming...don't get me started. Guests can be very rude!

Agreed! I am really glad I didn't send them out. I still haven't got many RSVP's but still I am glad I didn't spend the extra money!

I didn't include RSVP cards in mine mainly because our wedding will be so small & we already know who's coming. I figured why add more paper to the landfill. cheesy.gif

My deadline is July 1st. Out of 60 invites I have about 7 RSVPs returned and 1 RSVP via the wedding website (which I mentioned as an option on the RSVP card). And 2 people (with 3 guests!) RSVP'd on the wedding website that heard about it but were not invited! smile35.gif

Oh, Lord. Don't even get me started... I cannot tell you how many people wanted to come, friends of friends that I've never met. People kept wanting to invite people I've never met and eventually I put my foot down and said, It's a wedding, not a PARTY. So, No! LOL
Granted, the vacation is one thing, but the wedding is entirely different. And who wants people they've never met at their wedding?!

But yeah, those RSVPs are so annoying!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
