That's damn good! Have you been working out everyday or just watching the fat grams?

I wonder what would happen if I start Alli and the Sacred Heart Diet.... might be too hot for my own good! LOL

That's awesome, I also want to try it but I'm so nervous about the 15 grams of fat per meal.pinkie.gif

i have not worked out one single day this week. I have been too busy and working late so by the time i get home to eat dinner its like 8:30 or 9. i have been too tired to go work out. i have just been religiously watching the fat grams per meal, which honestly is not that hard at all.

here's what my typical breakfasts are (i alternate every other day):
Day 1 - 1 cup stoneyfield lowfat vanilla yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1 large sliced strawberry, and 1/4 cup bear naked high protein granola. TOTAL FAT: 9 grams
Day 2 - 16 oz (same as 2 cups) of 1% lowfat lactaid milk, mixed with 1 scoop of isopure no carb protein powder, chocolate flavor. TOTAL FAT: 5.5 grams

on weekend days, i just eat the yogurt meal both days and also add coffee with 1/2 cup of fat free milk, NO SUGAR.

for lunch, i eat a variety of things, but here are the two things i eat most often:
meal 1 - either a salad of mixed greens with 1 large sliced strawberry, 1 tbsp herbed goat cheese, and ocassionally 1/2 of a sliced grilled chicken breast. for dressing, i bought the low to no fat spray dressing where its 10 sprays = 10 calories or something like that and 10 sprays is more than enough. TOTAL FAT: about 5-8 grams (depending on whether i use chicken or how much goat cheese)

meal 2 - any subway sandwich off the 6 grams of fat or less menu. as a rule of thumb: i only put lettuce, cucumbers (sometimes tomatoes too but not recently with the salmonella scare), black olives, provolone cheese, and vinegar for the dressing. my two picks for sandwiches are the subway club or the turkey & ham. the vinegar dressing has no fat, so remember if you get oil & vinegar that is going to add several grams of fat. the vinegar alone is preferable and personally i like the taste of the vinegar alone anyway. TOTAL FAT: 6-9 grams depending on the toppings, i do not get cheese every time.

i often add in either a small bag of baked BBQ lays (3.5 g fat) or similar substitute. nothing more than 4 g fat though.

dinner -

we often grill chicken or pork seasoned only with a little sea salt and cracked pepper. here's a secret so that your meat doesnt stick to the grill - put the meat in a ziploc baggie with 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil to coat the chicken. rub it around with the salt & pepper in the bag and then take it out and lightly pat dry with a paper towel and then stick it on the grill. the olive oil will cook off on the grill and your meat will be moist! we do the same thing with veggies like zucchini. we also like broccoli grilled - just use a pastry brush to brush olive oil over the head of the florets & sprinkle w/ salt & pepper (its important if you grill broccoli to not chop it up first - you want to cook the whole head at once and chop up after its done)

other key tips:
--i dont drink soda. i try to ONLY drink water. an ocassional glass of wine (only one!) is ok and doesnt disturb the balance of calories.
--when i know i am going to eat something thats more than 15 grams of fat in one meal, i just dont take alli. its just not worth the hassle of fearing that im going to poop myself. but i have had zero treatment effects thus far. i only have skipped alli for one meal in one week - i had pizza for dinner last night and so i didnt take it. feel free to ask questions!

i will add exercise into my routine starting this weekend because my work schedule is clearing up so ill have more time.

**I WANT TO ADD THIS**

YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO BE AFRAID OF THE 15 GRAMS OF FAT PER MEAL. UNLESS YOU EAT LIKE A COW AT EVERY MEAL, YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WORRY.

also - i would NOT recommend doing this with the sacred heart diet. the reason why is that you are not consuming enough fat for the alli to be effective. you need to be consuming some fat per meal in order for the alli to work!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
