i do snack between meals. but here's my trick. i only have raw fruits or veggies, NO DIPS! there's no fat and few calories, and i drink water with it too. the water combined with the small snack fills me up if i get hungry in between. but honestly, i dont get that hungry in between meals except for the lunch to dinner stretch. all this week, ive taken either 2 cups of watermelon or a whole peach and cut up the peach and eat it around 3-4 pm. then im ok until i eat dinner around 8 or 9 depending when i get home.

for your metabolism, then best thing you can do is snack small between meals. but they have to be moderate in size and healthy stuff if you want it to work.

one of the things i really like about alli is that the starter pack comes with several little booklets that have info in them about how to best get results. my favorite little booklet is the one that has fast food restaurants in it that has a green little dot next to the things that are safe for you to eat while still taking an alli pill for the meal. for example, the other day, i got home so late that we went to wendy's to grab some quick dinner. instead of getting a hamburger & fries, i got a small chili and a baked potato. the salads are great too - but you have to be sure to ask for the low fat dressing. when i get a salad at wendy's i only use half the packet of low fat dressing. that way i save a lot of fat grams AND calories smile78.gif

one great thing i am noticing too is that i have a serious sweet tooth, i am always craving something sweet or chocolate. all this week i really havent had any cravings for that stuff!
I LOVE sweets, I could live on them, lol! So that's good to hear, hopefully it will curb my cravings.

One question for you. I've tried Hyrdoxycut before, but the pills made me feel really drugged up/strung out! Does Alli make you physically feel any different?
i dont feel drugged at all! i feel totally normal.

please dont type in all caps, it converts your message to cap the first letter of every work and all the other letters lower case and its really hard to read, its also an etiquette thing around here.

I would really like to try this, but I work in sales and am in the car all day long travelling from one account to the next.

I can not fathom having to "go" while driving or having an "oops" so I am really leery about giving this a shot ... so any input you ladies can offer about the likelihood of having to "go" and not getting to the restroom in time (i.e while driving) would be greatly appreciated.

I lost a good amount of weight before the wedding, but now and seeing it return all too quickly -- mainly b/c getting to the gym hasn't been so easy with my new job.

Another question:

Does the Alli curb your hunger or does it solely regulate what your body stores/releases? I did the research a few months back but just can't remember offhand.

And, since my sales job is Wine, and I am tasting wine with customers all day .. I wonder how that will affect my body if I do try Alli?

Hey Tami!

From what I've read and what Maura has said since taking it, as long as you stay within your 15 grams of fat per meal you will be fine. I'm not really too worried about it, a lot of the reviews I read say as long as you follow the eating guidelines and don't take a pill if you're eating something over 15 grams, then they had no bad effects.

I think the people that had the bad effects didn't eat what they were supposed to be eating.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
