Does this diet actually work? Or do you gain all the weight back as soon as you start eating normal food again?

I just used this as healthy eating, I definatly felt a lot better, but I was excersizing a lot, I prob did it once a month for 4 months, with excersize and lost 35 lbs total, 5 of which i gained back over the holidays.

But I did maintain with out anything extreme for about3 months.

I have two new soup recipes that I promissed I would post for Erika. here they are

 

SOUP TO GET THIN ON

90 Calories per serving

3 48oz can chicken broth

2 medium onions chopped

5 celery ribs, chopped

5 parsnips chopped

1 head of cabbage, sheredded

4 bell peppers, chopped, any color will work

8 oz's mushrooms, chopped

10 oz pkg spinach

10 oz pkg frozen brocolli florrets

10 oz pkg cauliflower

2-3 pieces of chopped gingeroot

1 14oz can crushed tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste.

 

This is actually a crock pot recipe, it says to cook on low for 6-8 hours. However when I made this recipe, there was so much that it wouldnt fit, so I put it in a big pot and let simmer until finished.

You obviously dont have to follow this recipe exactly, I dont really like parsnips so I only used 1. Also this makes A LOT of soup, i freeze a lot of it and take it out as needed. I personally think this soup is really good, even my husband will eat it

LOW CALORIE SOUP

80 Calories per serving

 

2 cups carrots, thinly sliced

2 cups celery sliced

2 cups cabbage, sheredded

8 oz pkg frozen green beans

1 onion chopped

28 oz can diced tomatoes

3 envelopes dry low sodium beef flavored soup mix

3 tbsp worchestire sauce

salt and pepper

water to cover

 

** recipe says to add spinach if you want**

cook on low for 5 hours, again this is a crock pot recipe, so if it wont fit in your crock pot use a regular pot.

 

I havent made this recipe yet. So please let me know how it is if you make it

Erika, did you make your soup this weekend? Im going to make mine today. My body is deff ready for healthier eating plan after my new years festivites, that lasted for 4 days.

Stacey I feel the same way. I made my soup kinda regular but with lots of ginger a jalepenos, and very brothy, It is really good. Kinda Asian like.

 

I am just doing it m-F and weekends off.
