Sacred Heart Diet Anyone?

Recommended Posts

I actually enjoyed banana day and bananas are one of my least favorite fruits. In the morning I mixed ice, milk, and two bananas in the blender, it was like a milkshakes, I had two bowls of soup for lunch, and then I made another shake for dinner, but added cinnamon (which was really good btw)

This is the same thing I did on banana day. I didn't really enjoy that day but you can all get through it!! Wasn't too bad.

I just kept telling myself finish today and then I can wake up and have beef. It worked for me :)

Ok, so I made my steak...yummy! Unfortunately, I thought the diced tomatoes woud look like they do on the can...they don't! They are more like a tomatoe sauce...so we had an interesting version of Steak Pizzaiola. It was ok...but I perfeer my sauce on pasta!

So, my sister came over after her date tonight...barely walked in the house and said "did you lose weight, your belly looks smaller" (as she poked it - yeah, thanks! LOL) Then she was like "You're jeans are big" (as she pulls the crotch area) So I said "yeah, I might have lost some weight, the jeans are right out of the dryer"...she thought I was going to say I've worn them before and that's why they're loose :)

We'll see what tomorrow morning says :)

Well - I weighed myself this morning and I am up 3 lbs!! WTF!!

FI and I got in a screaming match yesterday because he had left and went shopping with daughter - they came back and had bags from Spicy Pickle (Sandwiches) and a bag from Noodles (Chick & Mac & Cheese). fryingpan.gif

He brought me some portobellos and zuchinni.

The thing is, I was SO HUNGRY! I can't stand to eat the soup anymore. I could only get down 1/2 a bowl of soup yesterday. I must admit, I cheated yesterday and had a celery stalk with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese and dried cranberrys.

I told him I was so hungry and that it was rude of him to keep bringing in fast food when he knew I couldn't have any. So he says very sarcastically "eat some soup". I could have freakin choked him!! hit.gif

In the end I ate the grilled veggies and enjoyed the rest of my night.

This morning I ran to the store to buy some banannas before I came into work and what's in the car? - Fast food bags from Good Times! UGH!! wtf.gif

I swear, if I make it through this week, I can do anything! I have been tempted with EVERYTHING this week. Honestly though, I need some variations of the soup - maybe it's the tomatoes. I just cant eat it! I will do my best to get at least a bowl in a day. As far as dieting goes, I can do all veggies, fruit and soup and no whites. The soup has gotten to me in the worst way.

I would kill for a bowl of oatmeal right now! This morning I drank a Naked all natural protein juice smoothie. It actually wasn't bad. It didn't have any sugar and was all natural, so I don't think it will kill me. (It had banannas in it)

I don't know guys - if any of you are having sudden outbursts of rage that are out of character for you - I am blaming the diet!!girl_werewolf.gif

Oh, I had a full break down with DH yesterday, lol! It had nothing to do with food, but he thought I was a lunatic. I'm fine now.

As far as the weight gain, my first few days I wasn't seeing a lot of progress and was getting very frustrated. But yesterday I saw a big difference, which helped me to keep going.

I just ate a steak tip for breakfast and as much as I was looking forward to beef day, I really would kill for a piece of fruit right now, beef for breakfast is really gross!

I'm almost at my breaking point with this diet, in all honesty. I'm just having cravings for so many things, not even bad things, I would just like a bowl of freakin cereal! Or a salad with a little bit of dressing! Anything besides soup!

I'm going to try to get through today and stay on track, I have my daughters dance recital again today so that will eat up a lot of my afternoon.

I was irritable, but I blame it on PMS...Apparently my visitor came last night/this morning. FI in general has his nasty moments...so while I'm sure the diet is adding to it, I can't blame it completely.

I wonder if the gain is because your body is adjusting to all the veggies? Can you think of any variatioins you can make to the soup to make it tollerable?

Yeah, we weren't feeling beef for breakfast either. I don't usually have much appetite in the morning. FI said F* it and had a banana and then some celery and carrots. I think we're going to do chicken today instead of steak...

FI has been DYING for a bowl of cereal...we actually talked about after this week, modefing it and maybe doing a bowl of cereal for breakfast, Soup for luch, and Soup with a Heatly (mostly veggie) dinner.

The couple of lbs I gained yesterday, I lost again...so I'm back down 11 lbs...FI is down 12

I am with you Jill. Steak for breakfast?? I'm with you Sister! Oh how I longed for the chef salads in the refrigerator case this morning. I stared longingly at one and grabbed my juice and walked the other way!

Have fun today with your daughter. I don't even want any sweets, I am good with the fruit, it's just the freakin soup! This whole diet has given me the leg up and has opened my eyes to eating healthier for sure. I don't want chips or cake or anything like that. I just want something other than soup. Oatmeal, yogurt, whole wheat toast - I'm seriously considering quitting the restrictions and keeping at least 1 bowl of soup and everything else healthy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
