Yeah, I will email Gabriela and ask her if she can get in contact with them for me.  That is the email address she gave me and I have sent 3 emails over the last couple weeks with no response.

We hired Moments that Matter Photography to do our photos.  I didn't like the work for the previous company they were working with for their photography, so we hired an outside photographer.  Of course we will have to pay a $300 outside vendor fee.

A catamaran!!  That sounds like fun!!   What company are you using for that?

I am right there with you!!  I am still waiting on a lot of people to RSVP!!  Gabriela emailed me over the weekend.  She sent me a document that we need to fill out with all of our details and how we want everything!!  I guess I need to get all the details figured out!!  Of course I wont know the final head count until I get our RSVP's back.

I am trying to figure out the flowers.  My colors are fuchsia and orange.  My bridesmaids are wearing fuchsia dresses.  Groom and groomsmen are wearing linen pants and ivory camp shirts.  I think my bouquet is going to have pink and orange lilies and roses, might add some pink and orange calla lillies too.  I don't know if I should make my bridesmaids bouquets the same as mine, just smaller, or maybe just do all orange lillies.  What do you think I should do with the boutonnieres?  Should I make my FI's one color and the groomsmen another?  I wasn't sure what to do to make his stand out.

I am totally freaking out!!  The time is going so fast!!  We are leaving in 24 days!.  I decided for my bouquet orange, pink and yellow lilies, orange and pink calla lilies and orange and pink roses.  My bridesmaids will have just orange lilies.  The grooms bout is going to be an orange calla lily and the groomsmen orange roses.

I emailed Gabriela the wedding details information with the number of people we have and what all we want.  The only thing I really have left to do is music.  I am having a hard time trying to decide on a first dance song!!

Those bouqets sound beautiful! I soo do not have all the details figured out. Im actually feeling a little overwhelmed myself!

It soulds like you have everything pretty much together. I think we picked a first dance song...Lovesong by Adele. Its actually a cover of a song by the Cure but I think its pretty. Im sure you will figure everything out!! I cant wait to see pictures!!

Right now Im working on the detail sheets Gabriela gave me to fill out. I thought I had a lot of things checked off the list but after seeing seating charts and all that, which I really had no intention of bothering with, Im a little overwhelmed!!

I know what you mean!!  I felt really overwhelmed when she sent me that list to fill out!!  She had also given me the contact info. for the guy who is going to marry us, so I gave him our ceremony script and he thought it sounded pretty good.

I am trying to figure out what the dress code is for the buffet restaurants.  Some things I read say no shorts at dinner and other things I read say dress shorts are ok (I am not sure what dress shorts are).  Some of the guys are asking me and I know they wouldnt be too happy about having to wear pants to dinner every night.

I read that shorts are okay, just no denim or cargo shorts. I think like bermuda shorts are okay. You know, like the ones they sell at Eddie Bower.

My uncle is performing our ceremony so Im pretty happy that I dont have to worry about that.

Are you doing a seating chart for your reception dinner? Im kind of stressed about making one becuase I only have 20 people coming and the form she sent had those big long tables. I asked if we could have round tables or something but Gabriela hasnt responded (since Monday) :(

Im sure she is just busy with weddings that are in the next few weeks. Has her response time gotten faster as your wedding has gotten closer?

It used to be Gabriela would respond within a day or so.  The last few weeks it is getting a lot slower.  I sent her two emails on Sunday and I have not heard back from her yet.  It makes me nervous since our wedding is only 3 weeks away and I want to make sure to get the little details figured out.

It would be nice to have smaller tables.  We only have 14 people coming.  I told Gabriela that other than the wedding party being at one table, it doesn't matter to me to have a seating chart.  I think everyone can just sit where they want.

Are you bringing OOT bags?  We are bringing gift bags, and I am starting to worry about how much stuff we are bringing down with us!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
