I cut out fake sugars, the partially hydroginated fats, and processed meals (soups/frozen dinners) and it made such a huge difference in my body. I was a splenda addict! Moving is always super hard. When I first moved to Vancouver I pretty much argued with Michael every day! I hated it here and missed my family and friends so I was taking out the furstration on the person closest to me. It will get better I promise! As for the working out....I'll be your workout buddy once we're neighbours!!! I need to get my beach body in time for Mexico!! cheesy.gif (oh and we'll celebrate our workouts with cocktails after...the non fat kind..lol liar.gif)

I'm in 100% agreement. Since I stopped eating meat, dairy etc.... my body just lost all the bloat, and slimmed right down. Also for the cellulite on the back of the legs, I had some too and 2 years ago I hired a personal trainer who kicked my butt into shape (literally). It totally went away. So it can definitely be done but being skinny isn't going to help. Cellulite is something everyone has because its the way that fat cells cling together. In some people (depending on types of foods you eat) they cling together more. Massage of the area helps too, so you might want to try doing that in the shower. But if you tone the muscle underneath the cellulite areas and also loose weight overall it will minimize those areas too. The thighs are the last area to slim down on my body, so it takes extra work.smile35.gif

I agree with Ana. I first noticed it in pictures...i was playing volleyball in short shorts and I almost died when i saw the pics. omg I was in SHOCK! I hired a trainer and really concentrated on legs and bum. I did INTENSIVE leg workouts and its so much better now.

TIP: for the back of the leg the best exercise i found was the machine that has that "platform" in front of you...not sure what it's called sorry. Your sitting down on the seat and You push with high weights and then you lower the weight to like 35 lbs and do one legs only (so your other leg is dangling on the side) when you use ONE leg only on this machine its working the back of your leg and BUM - REALLY good to get rid of that cellulite!!!

lol deal! it will be fun cheesy.gif maybe if you start doing some running during the summer we can run together in the fall too...it will be fun if we can talk during it too..and we can find some really fun classes to go to like spin or pilates etc.. I'm actually even considering calling my old personal trainer to see what his rates are now. He was awesome before and really kept me motivated. If you're interested he might even want to do like a discounted rate if he's training two of us at once :) cheer2.gif

ugh i just want to move now cry.gif i don't want to wait another 3 months.

I've heard that body brushing ( exfoliating ) before showing helps - it helps to get your circulation flowing which inturn helps shift toxins / celulite, your supposed to brush gently over your whole body towards your heart for the circulation, plus it helps get rid of dead skin cells too !

To get rid of cellulite, you need to combine a good diet, strength training exercises, and deep massage. Unfortunately the creams don't work, it is the massaging the creams in that helps.

The healthy diet decreases the fat that can build up in and turn into cellulite.

The strength training can target those areas affected by cellulite and turn it from fat to muscle.

Deep massage works to break up the cellulite, since all it is is gobs of fat that attach to the underlayers of the skin. Creams are not able to break the fat up, or dissolve it, it is the motion of rubbing the creams in is what helps to break up the fat.

Hey ladies,

I had to add my 2 cents cuz i have had some relative success in the cellulite department with a cream. it's not gone, but def better. I've been using Biotherm Celluli-Choc for about a month and i can totally see a difference! I was shocked! My mom actually bought it for me. But ethrodson is right, it's all about the massaging. but if the cream gets me to actually do the massageing every day i think it's worth it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
