That is horrible.

I think you should do something to honor her, but maybe something that wouldn't get them too upset. I really like the frames people put in the bouqets to honor people that have passed. Talk to your friend and see if she thinks it's appropriate or maybe it would be too hard for them. I can't imagine what they are going through. And you too.

wow...

i went to a wedding this past weekend, and in the program, there was a page of people who couldn't attend the wedding, either because they had passed or because they lived too far away. if there are other people to honor, maybe this is a good way to go? and/or getting the other flower girl a locket or bouquet frame to put somewhere as she walks down the aisle.

Thanks ladies. I will defitenly talk to my friend and see how they feel about it. I love the idea of getting my other flower girl a locket or bouquet frame. I didnt even think about making a section for people who couldnt come b/c they lived too far!

Hmm....off to brainstorm! idea.gif

Thanks again hug2.gif

Wow, Christina, that's a lot to deal with- I am so, so sorry for your loss! I think it would be great to honor her at your wedding. I do agree with Maura, though, that you should run it by the parents first. If they aren't expecting it, it may be a lot for them to handle.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
