I am so sorry to hear she is sick. Doctors are not always right. I actually just saw a comercial of a woman who was told she had 2 mo to live. She went to a Cancer Center and they did tests and said we do not see a expirtion date stamped on your foot. So hopefully she will hold on for awhile. I will be thinking of your family.

I've seen that commercial and it is so true! We don't have an expiration stamped on us!

Angela-

I am sorry that you are experiencing these emotions at such a joyous time in your life. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. I am sure that your grandmother is at peace knowing that you are marrying a wonderful and sweet man. I wish you the best of luck. hug2.gif

Thank you so much everyone for your posts, I was not able to sign on at all yesterday or today until now and your thoughts and prayers have made me feel so much better. Right now my grandma is stable, we received a second opinion from another doctor and he is going to try another intervention. She currently has breathing tube and feeding tube down her throat which is causing so much pain....due to all the pain, they have heavily sedated her. The other doctor thinks that doing some new techniques could help, she will be in much less pain and she will be stable for several more weeks once she gets better nutrients and health back....that was such good news for everyone to hear! I love BDW and was happy to get support from your gals' here- thanx~*

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
