I think your next step is to just let her know that if they won't be attending the wedding, would she please send the FG dress back to you because so-and-so are booked and bringing their lovely daughter with them and you're going to reassign the FG duties to her.
Luckily, I have the FG dress & accessories and was going to take it with me to the wedding to give it to her there. So no loss there except I spent money that I won't get back cause I can't return it. I bought it so long ago. sad.gif

I will have to find a new flower girl. It's not the FG's fault, it's the mom acting like a ding dong
Who knows if they'll even come to my wedding, but again, totally presumptious on the mom's part! ICK!

So rude, sometimes I seriously wonder what goes through people heads.

If worse comes to worse and she does not come and you can't find another flower girl to replace her, could you sell the dress and accessories to at least recoup some of what you spent on it? It would be a shame for some little girl not to get to wear a cute little flower girl dress.

All right, ladies, here's the update:

She never emailed me back. But my mother spoke with her and her mom (my aunt), and told them flat out, I'm not paying for anything of them and how could she be so rude as to flat-out tell me she thought it was only "logical" for me to do so. So she told my mother she was going to "try to find a way to come" but that the other people she planned on bringing "probably will not be able to come." UM, WHAT THE FUCKhuh.gif SHE SERIOUSLY EXPECTED ME TO PAY FOR FIVE OTHER PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! And my mom said, That's fine but it's ridiculous for you to think that E & J would have paid for all those people.

GO MOM! wink.gif I thought that was so funny. So as is, I gues she may come, but maybe not? Who knows but at least it was made very clear to her where I stand. ANd how assy is it that she couldn't even confirm that she got my email? WTF is thathuh.gif That is RUDE!!!!!!!!! I hate when people blatantly blow you off. At this point, I'm like why even come to my wedding if you're gonna act like a child and not even respond to my damn email!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
