Not really much advice other then what I've written about already on this thread and others.

But a HUGE thing for me right now is that since the minister gave us the marriage certificate in the middle of us being congratulated by the family and stuff, we lost it. I can't add Matt to my insurance until we have it, and he pays for INS out of pocket. I can't change my name until we have it either. So I would def ask the WC to get that for you and you can pick it up the next day or something. It's causing us (me, really) alot of grief right now.

If you have any specific questions, I can try to answer them, otherwise, you can take a look at all the things that I have said along the way regarding Boscobel.

Hi Carly!

You guys had a private reception at Beaches Boscobel following the ceremony, correct??...were you only able to pick one food entree or did they let you pick more than one...were the kids given another choice or were they also served the same?? Just wondering how much flexibility there was in the menu b/c we will be having 8 little ones there!

Thanks for your help=)

We did have a priviate reception held on the Venetian Terrace. We chose one entree for everyone, but found out the day of that we could've given them a choice, the resort would just need to know ahead of time what the choices were.

I am not sure about the kids menu, I think it was probably the same, although I am sure they would allow you some flexibility if you asked. We only had 3 little ones, and 2 of them will eat anything and 1 will eat nothing, so we weren't that concerned about it.

We paid for the lanterns. I think it was like $350 for a few strands to total something like 24 lights.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
