Hey Everyone... My name is Anna and my fiance and I are planning a wedding in Maui on December 8th, 2008. I'm trying to find some help on finding either a wedding planner in Maui or some vendors that people have used in the past.

 

It's kind of hard to plan a destination wedding as all of you know so any advise would be appreciated.

Welcome - I'm getting married in Maui September 09. There's alot of info on this site, I also checked out the Maui Wedding Association and looked up Trip Advisor Forums, search under Maui Wedding Planners, check the dates because some of them are pretty old. It's amazing how much the prices vary but it really depends on what your looking for. I was originally looking at Tropical Maui Weddings but their prices seem to keep going up so now I'm leaning towards Precious Maui Weddings. It's hard to find reviews that aren't on their websites -- Sorry I'm rambling!!!

I will be speaking with Lori from Tropical Maui Weddings and also with Deanne from Precious Maui Weddings...

 

Let's see what I find out... I've read many reviews on Tripadvisor and it seems that these two were repeatedly mentioned.

 

Also, we're thinking about staying at the Sheraton in West Maui... does anyone have any other suggestions or comments?

maui_dec_08......WELCOME!!!! I am getting married in October 08 at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua, Maui. I am actually using the wedding coordinator at the Ritz Carlton and she (Dina Hill) has been great. They have lots of packages that also include honeymoon stay as well. Dina's email address in dina.hill@ritzcarlton.com. Let her know that Mrs. Lyons referred you to her.

 

ALSO.....check out the Maui forum. The ladies there are great with providing information.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
