Reminder for Cali drivers - new cell phone laws in effect 7/1

I think they talked about it here in Ohio as well.

Would be very good.

Yesterday morning some lady on her cell phone flew through a red light right infront of me. My light had been green for a while!

She was not paying one bit of attention. We were both lucky. But she was also stupid.

I know its for our safety, but if the govt want us to get a head set, they should pay for it! I can't afford one right now! Our gas prices are the highest in the nation! Apparently we pay the highest taxes on gas! Okay, I'm done. I just think this sucks!

Oh my gawsh, it does totally suck right now! I have never worried about gas and now I am careful where I drive. I make sure that if I am going in one direction I will make a few stops to make it worth my while.

I was driving on the 10 the other day and they had a flashing sign about this law, that's how I remembered.

I hate the headsets, I have one and never use it. I think they look so silly...maybe it's just where I live but people are on them everywhere you go like they are secret service or something...lol It's going to suck so bad to have to use one. I think I'd rather not talk on the phone in the car.

As for gas, I literally work 1 mile from home and don't drive too far outside of work, so I don't feel it. But, if I drove more I'm sure it would be killing me! The trip to the OC and back last week was more costly than it used to be, that's for sure!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
