I really like the black one - great job. I would suggest making the words sold rather than outlined - I think it will stand out better. Just a suggestion but otherwise they look really good - way to go! smile159.gif

Julie,
*Love* the black--- better watch out, I'll use that design myself!! smile159.gif

I agree with making the letters solid orange... That will really make it *pop*....

You can use it if you want, I am okay with sharing. We don't know the same people :) I agree about changing the letters as well, but I am not going to use this one, it was just a test, so I will not fix it right now. I need my wedding colours first. lol I just wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.

I LOVE using powerpoint and thats actually what I used to do my first monogram, but I have trouble moving it, so I think I need to read the instructions. I sent in a request of Aylee today for one, but I think I'm going to try making some on my own as well.

I also noticed on her site she has the instructions to make favor tags, I want to do those too, with our monogram, to hang on the fans.

I'll post when I'm done.

Please post the directions for the favour tags, I never saw that. I would love to know how to make it. The more I can learn the better.

Julie,

If the monogram is on it's own page in Powerpoint, go to "Edit" on your toolbar, then "Select All". Then press "Control" and hold it down.

Now is where you have to play a little bit. You need to click on an item in the monogram, but in doing so, it unselects it. Which is fine. Right click on that item and a sub-menu pops up. Select "Group" and another menu extends to the side. Select "Group Items Together". This will cluster all the items together as one unit so you can move it around.

I'm going off the top of my head, so when you right click, my wording might not be precise and you may have to interpret to the closest possible option...

Once you have everthing grouped together, you can right click and choose "Save as Picture." Then when the box pops up to name the file, make sure you change the file type to "JPEG" and then select where you want to save a copy of the monogram...

Maria

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
