We don't intend on having any children for another 5 years, at least. However we have names picked out for our future children.

We plan on adopting and conceiving a total of five children! We don't have any boys names picked out though.

We've combined parts of his name and my name to come up with one name which is unique-Menaelle.

I went to high school with a kid named Richard Small. His nickname was Dick. When they called out last names first he was called "Small, Dick". Thats just wrong.

This thread was a great idea. I've been laughing out loud for at least 10 minutes!

My friend's mom is a nurse and said that a woman who didn't speak English thought the nurse's named her baby "Female" but really they were just recording the sex of the baby. Thats just wrong...someone should have told her.

Well my name is Sorcha Caoimhe (first name is Irish for Sarah), and it's more popular in the UK than over here.

My sister's name is Briony (English for Brianna), her daughter's name is Kiora (pronounced key-or-ah)

My dad's name is Breffni, I don't know what that means.

The rest of the family has "normal" names. Even my last name is spelled differently than the norm.

Every day is a spelling test wacko.gif

Another thing that I can't understand is when people name their kids so their first and last names match.

eg. David McDavid

Fredrick Fredricks

Donald Donaldson

I have seen several names like these that have come into the ER at work. Everytime I see it, I wonder whyhuh.gif It could definately isn't a bad name, but I just don't understand the reasoning for having 2 names that are basically the same!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
