Ugh! Yep, it's been SCORCHNG here for the last week.

I'm working today and it's days like this that just exhaust me. Getting in and out of the car on sales calls all day ... plus it takes a LOT of ice to keep wine cool in the trunk of my car when it's this hot!!!

We were sooooooooo hot the last few days! However, lucky me, my office had a sewer leak this weekend that no one knew about and therefore I don't have to go to work today! Might have to clean up poopy water stuff tomorrow but at least I have today off!!! So I just get to chill out in front of the fans!

We were in the car last night (around 730pm) and the temperature still read 101 degrees!

I'll be at work for a large portion of the day - free air conditioning! - then rush home for the paid air conditioning lol…

No way am I stepping outside today and getting my famous sweat mustache ick!!

Last night at 8PM our dining room thermostat said 93...I can only imagane what it said mid-day. We broke down and put the AC in the bedroom window last night, put one downstairs for the furbabies this morning and FI will put the one in the dining room later on today.

Our high today is supposed to be 95...FI sent me this a little while ago, and he literally works right next to the ocean (where it's ususallly cooler...)

This whole weekend was just soooo hot. I'm sitting at work in the AC, so it's not affecting me too much today. Yesterday though Mike had to mow our lawn and we had to go to an outside bbq for my work....it was just so gross outside.

My PECO bill is going to be ridiculous. I left the central air on all day for the past 3 days so my poor doggie doesn't suffer.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
