Late Nov Wedding?? Will the resort be decorated for Xmas??

I was just thinking about this the other day and was wondering if the resort will be decorated for Christmas?? I have never been to Mexico this time of year so was wondering if anyone has and if the resort was decorated?? FI and I both love Christmas so I think it would be cool if it was.

We were in Puerto Vallarta last November after Thanksgiving and it was decorated.

 

It seemed SO odd to us to be in a tropical place with X Mas decor - it just wasn't right! LOL!

 

Probably because we live in a state where Christmas=cold and snow. It was really odd. After a while we just got used to it.

A few years ago we were in the Dominican Dec 1-8 and it was decorated for Christmas. Actually we are getting married in the same resort on Nov 30th, so I am expecting it to be decorated again. They did a nice job without over doing it. One day while we were down there some of the entertainment staff dressed up as tropical santa and mrs clause and went down the beach!

 

Nothing like looking at a well toned, black santa. mmmmmm!!!! Very nive eye candy I must say!

Well, that's good to hear. I guess it just happens that my bridesmaid dresses are red so who knows..maybe we'll go as Mr. and Mrs..haha But because of the wedding I think we have decided not to really do Xmas with our families this year to save the expense for them and us (usually we do it the weekend of Thanksgiving with my family since they go to FL) So, it will be cool. Of course we will still decorate at home but it will be different. Thanks for the input!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
