Forced Fun

Ugh, so today is my company's picnic and it's mandatory that we all go...hence me calling it "Forced Fun Day". LOL, I'm seriously dreading going. Oh well, at least I will get a free lunch out of it.

I swear I'd rather be at work, then I could sit in my office and be on BDW.

Heck no, only freaking water and soda. Yes, they make us play games with each other. GOD help me! A dunk tank would be cool, but I don't have my boss or anyone in my dept. I just don't like being forced to socialize with people I see every freaking day.

It's at a park. No facepainting either...ugh!

BBQ chicken and cole slaw. LOL! I hate cole slaw. Okay, I will stop being a downer and just go and have fun. I am a director and supposed to have a fabulous attitude about this. YAY FORCED FUN!

sometimes those things turn out better than you expected. or sometimes they really suck, but you make friends with some people you really didn't know well before. So you look back at the event like a waste of time but if you think about it it was worth going to. Atleast that is my experienced with my annual forced fun. it's a retreat at the beach or mountains. I always dread it & never have a good time, but I have made some friends each year or got to know someone better.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
