Going to Disneyland/World/CA Adventure? Read this!

I had to review this, it's too cool!

We used Ridemax software to plan our recent Disneyland & CA Adventure trip. We were skeptical but it was inexpensive so we thought we'd give it a try. You input what attractions you want to see, how many times, what time you want to start, what time you want to get in line for your last ride, and whatever breaks you want to take. It uses some algorithm based on averages and stuff I don't understand.

Wow, it totally worked for us! The worst part of those places is standing in line forever, it takes up soo much time for a 4 minute ride. Then you get irritable and it puts a damper on the day. Normally by noon you either need a drink or a nap but not with this!

With Ridemax at Disneyland we were able to ride everything we wanted with hours to spare, many things more than once. Our line waits averaged about 8 minutes, and the longest was 30 minutes because we deviated from the itinerary (against their advice) when Splash Mountain broke down. We walked by long lines for things we'd already been on and laughed at the fools waiting because our lines were nonexisitent. It maximizes the optimum time for fastpasses too so they work like they are supposed to. At CA Adventure we'd done it all by about 2pm, then did it all again.

I can't recommend it enough if you are going to Disneyland, Disneyworld, or CA Adventure. For only $15 you really can't afford not to get it . It saved us time and our sanity.

how cool. I imagine we will be going there in the summers with all the kids once Ainsleigh gets a little older so this is good to know, because standing in line with kids sucks. I will have to let my cousin know she goes all the time.

Sure! Remember DH & I told you how bad it sucked last time? Well this time we had like more fun than ever...I think because we are older now and really needed some kid time. Last time we went we were practically kids as it was! LOL

We made several itineraries to choose from when we got there, here is a one with an 8am start and 2pm finish - we left to go to the hotel and started a different itinerary again at 5pm. DL closed at midnight this night and we did it all w/time to spare, including that 3 hour break. I think we rode Thunder Mountain Railroad 4 times that night...love that ride!

Also, you'll notice we requested Indiana Jones twice on this morning and they worked it in (at 8:06a and 9:40a). They also give walk/wait times, you can specify your walking speed too. I couldn't copy & paste it here...it was formatted funky so I deleted that part. I tried to attach it in document form but the upload wasn't working sad.gif

So the real deal looks better than this but this gives you an idea (and of course this varies by calender date):

We do the fast pass for Great Adventure. It's awesome. Plus then I don't have to listen to Brian bitching about being bored and hotwhile waiting in line (he's such a baby).

I'm definitely doing that for Disney when we take Aiden.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
