That took me forever to find out what it meant and if it wasn't for Tammy B. I still wouldn't know. LOL.
LOL I am SO clueless when it comes to those internet abbreviations! LOL is pretty much the extent of my knowledge!

My resort gave us one of these and it was really helpful.

I made a detailed list... and then actually DREW out a blueprint of where I wanted everything to go as well as attached a few pictures.

I felt like an ass after I sent it off to her, but she actually really appreciated the specific instructions.

maybe a word doc is good, that way you can attach the pics, and have sections per item. I did an initial word doc that I sent Maye, but its pretty much all going to change now because I decided on different colors etc...

Alyssa- who cares if you look like a control freak? You don't have to be around this person for the rest of your life, so who cares if they think you are over the top! You WILL though remember all the details for the rest of your life, so ensure they are right. :)

I made a Word document with subsections for each event (welcome dinner, reception, reheasal, ceremony) and included all details in a bullet format. Things that I had questions about were highlighted in red. I included pictures of things she needed to see. My WC was so cool, she responded by sending me the same sheet back with her answers in a different color. It worked great. I am such a control freak, but it works great for wedding planning.

great post alyssa. This is helpful. I don;t consider myself a Type A person (like that birthday thingy said I am this morning.)

BUT, when it comes to this I will probably be following ina few footsteps here by sending pictures of everything we have discussed prior about the wedding...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
