I have a funny c word story.......

Im a cat scan tech and I brought a 92 yr old female patient into the scanner room and asked her "what brought you in to the hospital today?" and she yells "MY "see you next tuesday" hurts!"......so my jaw drops and I say OMG did you just say your c_nt hurts?!?".

OK so that wasnt very professional of me but it just came out. I could not believe that she just said that. I had to step out of the room and I was laughing so hard I was crying. This was a frail old lady and she yelled that out like it was nothing. I couldnt write that on her paperwork so I called the radiologist and let him know why we were scanning that patient....she gave us all quite the laugh but she was dead serious. smile120.gif

One might argue that it's a sad day when a woman does something worthy of being called that word, but to each their own opinions :)

IMHO...there are more effective (legal) ways to deal with a situation than using vulgar words....but that's just me.

I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion that is why I voiced mine.

I think you're right! These words are only offensive if you let them be... I admit I was taken back when I read the "c" word in a thread but hey to each his own... Personally I don't like that word and prefer to use others instead! But they are only words....

Just because you may not have chosen the same words to describe something doesn't mean that everyone thinks the same way that you do.

Sticks and stones my break my bones but names will never hurt me...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
