Ive got soooooooooo many questioncs for u, Phillybride but first I want to say that you made a gorgeous bride, and the two of you a gorgeous couple. You seem to be very comfortable in front of the camera. Kudos for a beautiful event.

Now down to the nitty gritty:

1. Did they design the chulupa and draping for you?

2. Who hung the paper lanterns? Did you bring or did they provide?

3. Same question regarding your centerpieces (candleholders, lights etc.)

4. How/when di dyou use the mariachi band and what was your impression of them.

4. what kind of sound system did you have at the ceremony?

5. what time of day was your ceremony?

6. did you get your mani there?

7. I looooooooove your ringholders...your idea or did they provide?

8. which package did you have?

9> how many guests?

Ok, here we go…..

1. Did they design the chulupa and draping for you?

I designed the gazebo based on what I’ve seen here and the magazines.

I just told them what to do and they did it almost perfect!!!

(Pictures help a lot, so print a bunch of them)

2. Who hung the paper lanterns? Did you bring or did they provide?

I brought the lights with me and they hung them for me)

3. Same question regarding your centerpieces (candleholders, lights etc.)

I brought all the decorations with me, including centerpieces.

It was a pain in a butt to carry them over on the plain but it was worth it.

4. How/when di dyou use the mariachi band and what was your impression of them.

Mariachi band played during the ceremony. They were awesome. Such a great addition to the romantic atmosphere.

4. what kind of sound system did you have at the ceremony?

I hired a DJ. He was awesome!!!

Here is his info:

5. what time of day was your ceremony?

The ceremony started at 5:30.Perfect time IMO

6. did you get your mani there?

Sorry didn’t get this one… What do you mean??

7. I looooooooove your ringholders...your idea or did they provide?

Are you talking about the shell and a starfish?? I got this idea from here. Just added a little something of my own.

8. which package did you have?

I had the “Ocean Scents” package.

9> how many guests?

60 people

Hope this helps :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
